“We had a great night at Shawnee Inn. The room was quaint and clean. We also had a good view of the water. Overall, great staff and amenities. I would say we’ll be back in the summer”

“The hotel looks more like a motel. There are people living there, and as soon as you arrive it smells strongly like cigarettes and marijuana. You can call and call, and no one answers. The room itself is clean, but it still smells a lot like marijuana. The jacuzzi’s water handle is broken, so you can’t turn the water on properly. The only good thing is pets friendly and it’s free ”

“So our stay was fine, but as far as bedding; the bed and pillows were horrible. The staff was great we had a hiccup with our TV was handled properly and very fast. Breakfast I did not get a chance to eat being on vacation I didn’t get up until 9:30A so think time for breakfast should have been until at least 10:00A. Location was good and again everything else was great. ”

“The staff was very nice. But unfortunately my stay was not ideal. I checked out early bc the shower smelled like rotten eggs. Additionally, I found fair in my sheets.”

“The staff were nice, the place was clean.. but very outdated. The bathroom door didn’t really close, the peephole cover was broken, and a very odd/unpleasant smell in the room itself, especially the bathroom. This place is a motel, not a hotel, just to be clear. ”

In my travel life I have never found such a nasty dirty and stinky structure, even the breakfast was obscene. I will never go back there anymore.”
