Hotel vicino a Worthington State Forest - Columbia

“Lovely setting and history of the inn and golf course was interesting . Really came to golf and was not disappointed. Course was very well maintained and fun to play. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Enjoyed the jazz on Tuesday outside and the brewery pizza was yummy. Our meal at the Inn’s restaurant was fabulous! I had trout and it was perfect. Calimari was best I ever had. New chef is very inventive. Only negative is there were ants in our room and the place needs a bit of paint here...

“Nice place for an overnight or 2. My big complaint is that our room smelled terribly of cigarettes and there were no other rooms available. The smell dissipated after a day but it was very bad to start. I will definitely stay here again but will make sure Its a nonsmoking room.”

“Outside property and surrounding area was beautiful. Cottages look great from the outside however the one I stayed in needs an upgrade!(#50) The bedroom was fine(except for paint peeling on the ceiling) and the blinds and balance were outdated and fridge was noisy. The bathroom needs a serious upgrade! Toilet too low, mirror over sink to high, and tub didn’t drain. After two showers there was over a foot of standing water. Doors were not the most secure. I would have liked to have known...

“The staff was lovely and helpful, but this place was just awful. Mold on the bathroom door, a lock busted off of the door to the room, an overwhelming musty smell and a fog of some kind of air freshener in the hallway. It really made me wonder if PA has any regulations covering hotels at all. And the cost was not bargain basement. We stayed in a beautifully maintained hotel the next night in baltimore county for about the same price. The hotel chain and the state regulators should be ashamed of...

“What I didn’t like is in the middle of the night a client knock my door because she was in the same room like mine. It was a mess”

“I would never tell anyone to stay at this old, run down place. No amenities in the room, room very small & old. Steps to building very dangerous. Room had a full bed, small round table, a chair & an old TV. Very old A/C unit. Bathroom so small you could hurt yourself in it. Din't even supply wash cloths. I woould rate it a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. They should pay people to stay there, not the other way around. You are making a big mistake having them on your list of places to stay”
