Point Sur Dunes Nature Preserve: Tour e Visite Guidate

This resort arguably has one of the most spectacular views in Carmel. Unfortunately, our room had a very limited view, which was a huge disappointment. The room was not ready at 4:00 pm and we had to wait until nearly 6:00 to get into the room, however they were able to reverse the resort fee which was appreciated. The other issue was that the room reeked of smoke, so bad we could hardly breathe. Probably because the real wood fireplace had been used before us, but leaving behind the smoke is unacceptable. Other than this issue, the room was clean and quite large.

Likes: Pet friendly, wine offered 5:-6:pm, very helpful staff at checkin & restaurant. Dislikes: room wasn’t ready to checkin until 5:30pm, however they deducted amenities fee to apologize
