Hanging Tree Wines is a beautiful hidden gem in the Hunter Valley - perched on one of the most scenic ridge of Pokolbin, overlooking the valley to uninterrupted views of the Brokenback Mountain Ranges.

Set over 40 acres, our grapes are handpicked to produce a variety of sparkling, white, red, sweet and fortified wines. We also have over 300 olive trees where we handcraft olives, tapenades and olive oils.

Family & Pet friendly – with our own resident dogs, farm animals, kid’s treasure hunt, giant chess & other fun games onsite. We encourage you to wander around and explore the cellar door, grounds, koi fish & duck pond, rose garden & all the greenery in our Path of Seduction. Our cellar door also has Live Jazz every Sunday from 2pm, so come on up and enjoy the smooth vibes & wine!

The Hanging Tree Homestead blends the comforts of modern living with the simplicity of country life. It takes a commanding position on our vineyard, overlooking the Brokenback Mountain Ranges. Comfortably sleeping 8 across its 4 suites with 4 bathrooms, including a full kitchen, lounge, sunrooms, fireplaces & BBQ. The wrap around deck allows you to enjoy both sunrise and sunset views, with the occasional hot air balloons floating around.
