“Checking in wasn’t the best experience. I was told I had booked 2 rooms with Expedia when it was only one. Then after checking I was wondering if the breakfast was still included like I had seen online? I had to go back to the desk to ask because she didn’t tell me anything about breakfast!”

“The rooms were large, comfy; and clean The AC sounded like a jet engine. The room above was somewhat noisy but that's not the hotel's fault The breakfast was awesome. Large, varied, and tasty. Disappointed that pool was under construction. As nice as the hotel was we would have gone to a different hotel with breakfast had we known the pool was unavailable. My grandchildren were disapponted. Also disappointed that as nice as staff was in person, they were totally unresponsive via message.”

“The staff was friendly and quick to answer questions. It was in a safe area with quick access to Ames and Iowa State campus. The room and shared spaces were clean. The room had blackout curtains that did their job well. The air-conditioning was easy to adjust in the room and was not noisy. Our room had a microwave and fridge that were very clean and functional. Outdoors had tidy landscaping. There were generously spaced parking spaces with good lighting at night. An overall cheery and positive...
