Lovely, quiet property with beautiful garden flowers in front. Perfect location for us to explore the northeastern part of the Olympic NP. Andrew was easy to communicate with. Would definitely book again.

Extremely light and comfortable home in nature

What a special place to stay and enjoy Olympic National Park. The kitchen is bright and spacious. Comfortable beds and baths. It truly feels like a functioning home. We got in a nice 2 mile neighborhood morning walk and then headed to nearby Salt Creek Recreation Area to explore tidepools. The next day we drove to Rialto Beach to explore where the forest meets the Pacific. Thank you for hosting us and for the wonderful Thai restaurant advice!

Beautiful house and very relaxing

The house is very clean and so relaxing. We enjoyed cooking out and sitting out back. The homeowner suggested a hike that close by and the best one we went on the whole trip. He was easy to communicate with and made the stay pleasant. Thank you!

Elk Meadow lives up to its name!

We loved how light & airy the home is, it's such a peaceful spot with lots of birds, deer & the elk came by for a visit on our last day, about 30+11 calves! We also really appreciated that the kitchen had great cookware & sharp knives. Loved hanging out in the hammocks and on the back deck. Andrew was always available if we had questions about the house or adventuring in the area. He was an excellent host!

Quiet place to launch our adventures

Home was quiet and clean with plenty of room for two teens and two adults. Fire pit was definitely a plus but needs pavers for additional safety. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Plenty of family games in case you don't bring any. Owner was easy to reach and quick to respond. We really loved watching the hummingbirds around the vines on the deck! I would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful weekend

This place offered all it promised and beyond. It is so meticulously clean, quiet, beautiful surroundings . The house itself is tasteful decorated. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils Andrew, the property hosted responded immediately when I had a question.

Great place.

It was great. It is in a very peaceful and quiet place with deer in the backyard. We loved the outdoor firepit. The house had everything we needed for a great stay. The owner was a pleasure to work with and was very helpful suggesting places to go while we were there.

Perfect distance from town, tongue point, and crescent lake Joyce’s Grocery store had just enough to cover what we needed… Lawn games, hammocks, and house were perfect for us!!

Perfect backyard

The house was nice and very clean. The backyard was our favorite part, it was perfect for kids to play outside and it also comes with backyard games for everyone to enjoy.

Lovely clean home in a peaceful area. Great yard for outdoor fun and games. Location was very convenient for my family's plans. We went to the Log cabin resort daily and explored Crescent bay and Tongue point. Enjoyed our trip and loved our stay here!

Comfortable home in a beautiful peaceful setting

Just what we expected from the description and pictures. It's less than 15 minutes to Lake Crescent, 25 minutes to Port Angeles waterfront. We saw deer, elk, bunnies, and even a bobcat in the backyard!

Quite Location Close to Olympic National Park

Housed worked well for three couples. Very nice having the washing machine and dryer. Nice quiet neighborhood. Centrally located for ONP. Owner's information book was spot on about a breakfast location called the Blackberry Cafe.

Quiet location

We had a nice stay here. It was very spacious and clean. It’s not super close to anything, but we enjoyed being in a peaceful neighborhood and being able to see the stars at night. The highlight was the fire pit in the backyard.

Great feel of the place and super close to the National Park

Our family had a great vacation based at this house. The house has a nice bright feel to it, the front patio, outdoor deck and garden are excellent highlights of the place. The kids loved the hammocks and fireside chats at night. It is a short drive to Lake Crescent in the national park where the water was surprisingly pleasant to wade into. We also ventured further out into the national park while we were there. All in all, an excellent vacation, we would happily recommend the property to other families looking to have a relaxing base in the area.
