This particular guest has a problem - she booked for 3 days and has spend a week so far and still extending her stay as she is still in the property - the roads are absolutely horrible as their is a massive road resurfacing project that has been going on by the government of Jamaica for over a year now and in relation to the internet is unfounded as her issue is that she cannot watch Netflix on her tv but the WiFi works every where. - THE INTERNET WORKS WELL- we have one of the fastest in jamaica. Secondly we have given her discounts because her personal Netflix doesn’t work (not the hotels responsibility) and she complains of money on a budget hotel!!!- although we try we can’t please everyone - I hope she returns when the roads are fixed and she has learnt the difference between internet and WiFi and her Netflix account

Sorry to hear that - hope you return.there is microwave access to our guest in the dinning room - we are in the midst of a drought and we may have one of the biggest reserve for water in Portland for a hotel. I understand that you were info that the reserve takes 20 minutes to be fully functional ( transfer of water while the pumps are switch off). I also understand that you couldn’t wait for you had to leave and that your wife was I’ll.In relation to your issues. With the towels and rags port antonio suffers from hard water and although we operate a soft water treatment facility at our laundry mat. Bright whites loose their brightness in under two weeks.These issues are significant as for the private security we will look into what may have gone wrong.We recommend that you choose a highrr room offering ( one that has a kettle or stove in your booking at another hotel or ours on the next occasion so you won’t have interpersonal issues with anyone.Thanks for your support but we notes you have no complaints in relation to bed, internet, hot water , HD television cable , air conditioning or hotel workers save and except the private security. This is a disgruntled guest who want half off her stay after a week stay for two reasons she ran out of toilet paper one morning and received a fresh roll within 5 minutes, secondly she went to the front desk at 10 pm to place her breakfast order and the receptionist was in the bathroom. They will always be people hard to please and our team has done there finest. We were booked solid for the week and yes we were always busy cut us all some slack my workers work very hard and we are among the best paying small hotels - we would prefer if your review was genuine and not one to divide our team when we give an all out effort for our guest.You request ms. Parkes to clean your room based on the relationship you developed with her and she tried her best as she is a trained housekeeper and supervise final checks after the head housekeeper- please refrain for misinterpreting and misconceptions and we wish all the best life can bestow as to the ants we will look into that.At our price point we don’t have phone systems in our room and yet we are proud to say our prices are among if not the best in our area- top GD channels / swimming pool- air conditioning- award nominated food and friendly service - we are one as a team at match resort.We suggest a proper all inclusive for demands

Thank you for your excellent review - what you failed to mentioned is that the road for over 60 miles is under piping and resurfacing by the govt of Jamaica and is not under the Hotel control. Also you got a refrigerator and coffeemaker in the room but it’s up to you to stock items in it, there are all available to be purchased from the lobby as you should have clearly seen. This isn’t an all inclusive hotel.We try our best to make you comfortable so you enjoyed your stay.Our water pressure in the rooms is very good so when you mentioned no water in the room you are speaking about complimentary bottles of water in the refrigerator- this is a available for purchase in the lobby

Review was not an honest one - the internet was perfect but guest could not get their fire stick to work although the tv and cell phone was on hisoeed WiFi- secondly they want to leave a day earlier which was refused because of the match contractual obligations with Expedia and unfortunately led to this disastrous review. We wish them the very best in their experience and hope they return to visit us
