This one of a kind amazing beach view home feature an open layout easy for entertaining with a full kitchen, 2 dining tables, comfy seating, wood floor throughout and huge windows to enjoy the ocean view. The outdoor kitchen Is fully equipped with propane grill, sink, ice maker, refrigerator, and even a kegerator! Outdoor enclosed shower and 2 foot wash stations make rinsing the sand off easy and convenient. Enjoy ample seating both on the upper deck and below the house. There is no vehicle access to the beach, this makes the neighborhood quieter and safe for children. However, the neighborhood walkover access is just a short walk 2 houses down.
Relax after a day on the beach around the waterside outdoor firepit listening to indoor and outdoor surround sound speakers. Enjoy the concierge services available at this home from grocery shopping and delivery, beach bonfires, fishing excursions, personal chefs, etc. for additional charge. Options are limitless at Honey’s Hideaway just steps from the sands of Crystal Beach shoreline!

Very clean and nice

Our stay was lovely. The place really clean and nice. We had a lot of fun staying there for a few friend’s bday celebration. The only thing that we wish we knew that we should have gotten was more toilet paper. Only 3 rolls were left for the weekend for the whole place. But other than that it was great.

Amazing place for a family get away

The property was gorgeous and in a perfect location. Stevi was quick to tell me if we needed anything to reach out directly for expedited service. Fortunately our stay was flawless and we didn't have to reach out but it was nice to know if we needed to then the option was available. The home had plenty of room for our 4 families. We would certainly consider this property again in the future.

The perfect family getaway

WOW! is only one of the many words to explain this home! The house was absolutely breathtaking! The inside and outside of the property was sparkling clean…. This house was equipped with absolutely everything you need! Our family was pleasantly pleased with our stay and are already planning our next trip back! The owners were very friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. We took a group of 20 and I assure you we had plenty of space! We did not want to leave our favorite place was the outside decks both upstairs and below ! The outside bar was like the icing on a cake! If you are looking for a great space to rent look no further …. But don’t stay too long because we will be back lol Until next time Crystal Beach ❤️

Great setup and location

The location was great and setup of the house was perfect for families of 5.. The kids loved the bedrooms. We we surprised with open bar and BBQ place with all the amenities. There was plenty of place. Kitchen was full. Plenty of towels were provided. Stevi was really nice host and quickly respond to the call and messages. We really enjoyed and definitely return to this place again!

Great Location, Terrible Management

Stayed from 8/26-8/29. Nice owner/nice place. On arriving, the property manager arrived to give us the keys. When she saw the group she said, "Is it just you GUYS?" Which was an interesting remark but I did not consider it again. Here, the story turns: on departure, after seeing a lost carrot from dinner that fell under the couch, the property manager mendaciously told the property owner there were inappropriate smudges on the window and explicit material on all the walls and the carrot. (A picture of a carrot under the couch and hand smudge on the window was provided as “evidence.” As it was a lie of course, no proof of anything inappropriate was provided.) In my opinion, the property manager made offensive conclusions about us because we were a group of men on a guy's trip without any women in the party. This group of happily married men (7 of 9 of us married) have taken this trip for almost a decade, and we have never experienced anything like this. (I have several good reviews with the same group to document this fact.) Understandably upset about the lies, I reached out several times by phone to the owner and property manager to correct the misunderstanding. They denied my calls and attempts to work this out. Before renting, I did see multiple negative reviews on this property about the cleaning crew and the property manager. Unfortunately, I rented anyway. The property owner seems a very nice person but the property manager and cleaning crew truly lack integrity. Naturally being unable to explain, the property manager and cleaning crew asked for “extra cleaning fees” and money for a broken shower spigot from her made-up story. I'm writing this review concerned because in my opinion, without the property manager’s made-up story against our group and the false narrative she created, these charges would not have even been applied.

The key to property wasn’t in the lock box upon arrival like it was and wasn’t able to get into the house. Cleaners were just hanging out when we arrived. I also tried putting my kids to bed I two top bunks and found dirty bloody sheets all over them in two beds. Also found blood on a wall in bottom bunk as well as a towel. We told property manager immediately and she insinuated it was us!!! We hadn’t been there but 5 hours!!! I even texted her pictures. Very disturbing. This was not the only filthy thing including air vents, window sills as well, and dirty bath mats. The location was nice the rest of the house was good besides those issues.

A Very Pleasant Stay!!!

There are so many things about this property that were just awesome & unexpected surprises. You can tell the owners went the extra mile to provide things the average renter my not have even expected, but were a great perk to have along the nice stay. When we had questions about things, the owners responded even very late in the evenings. The only thing I would change about this awesome place is provide larger bed pillows.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had a wonderful stay. You never know when a listing says 'fully stocked' kitchen what you'll find. We always prepare for the worst, just in case, but were pleasantly surprised by everything that was provided. The home was clean, beds were comfortable, and plenty of pillows and towels for all 9 of us. Location to the beach was perfect. Within walking distance, as well as, a nice view from the deck. The downstairs area was larger than what the listing is able to show; great outdoor space! Yes, there are mosquitos, Texas sized mosquitos: welcome to Texas on the water. Definitely not a deterrent, bring repellant. Something I didn't see shown in pictures or mentioned, but it could have been that I overlooked that part, but there is a great firepit area on the backside of the house. The Charcoal pit was great to have access to. The outdoor shower foot washing station was great, too. The bar area and giant Jenga were a fun feature. The kegerator was nice and chilled. All in all, we were very pleased with the accommodations and it made our family time together that much better.

July 4th Weekend

The space was perfect for our big group of friends. There was a bed for everyone and plenty of space for activities. They even provided a birthday cake free of charge.

Perfect house for my son's birthday!

We had a great time. The house was perfect for my sons birthday with his friends. My husband and I had 12 kiddos with us and couldn't have asked for a better house or location. Honey was also very responsive to my million questions. We would definitely rent here again!

Beautiful cabin but disappointed with management and cleanliness

Communication w/owner was prompt and pleasant before check in. Was asked to notify property manager prior to arrival for home tour. When we spoke she gave me the key code over the phone. Keys were easy to retrieve and from first glance the cabin looked outstanding. I always check for bed bugs when staying away from home and the first bed I checked had Dorito crumbs and ants. Checked a few more and found sandy sheets and WAY more ants. Many of the beds had dozens of ants in the sheets, under the mattress and on the comforters. There were two half empty water bottles on the top bunks. Around the same time I was checking beds, my 79 year old father was putting away groceries and noticed the ice machine in the kitchen wasn't working. No problem, these things happen so I proceeded to contact Stevi the property manager. I gave my name and told her we discovered a bunch of ants in about 1/2 of the beds. She said she was aware and that the exterminators would be out the next afternoon.?! I told her that the sheets were not clean either. She said they had all been cleaned and she had done a physical walk through before we arrived. I asked her to let me show her. She came and pulled down the sheets in one of the beds and saw the ants and food. She called who I am assuming is the cleaning company and demanded they call her 911 as she stripped that bed and washed the bedding. She had no other remedy for my guests that were arriving that night to sleep on clean bug free beds and she slammed some ant baits down on the kitchen table and left without saying a word. So, my 79 year old father and I went to the store for some home defense bug spray. We were up until 12 midnight washing all bedding, wiping down beds and spraying the bug spray. I realize things happen. Maybe the cleaning crew fell behind. But there was no apology. Couldn't wait for exterminators! Guests on way.Stevi was very rude. Asked about ice machine. She said inside one has part on order and outside had to be cleaned for Covid. Stevi brought a bag of ice when she brought the ant bait but that melted in two days and the outside one never worked. I asked about grills at check in. Was told there were 2. One gas and one charcoal. The charcoal one was full of ashes and there is no grating. The one upstairs worked. Outside bar is amazing but dirty with cigarettes and small trash everywhere. The bathrooms were dirty. Contacted owner who directed me to work with Stevi. Photos and video available

Weekend trip

There is a few hiccups in the beginning but Stevi the property manager when above and beyond to make everything better. Do not underestimate the mosquitoes even though I live in Houston they're way more aggressive than Crystal Beach 😆

Great stay

We had a great stay and it was very clean. A small walk to the beach. Kitchen utensils were fully stock so cooking was easy! Beds were very comfortable and we loved the porch!

Family Trip

Just arrived home last night and ready to reserve again! The house is exactly how it is shown in the pictures. Upon arrival we were given the code for the keys, as we got into town after a 14 hr drive this was perfect. There was absolutely no hassle or wait. The house was clean and ready to go. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more for a week stay with 16 people. There were more than enough towels, beach towels, sheets and blankets. We were closer to the beach than I had pictured which was amazing to wake up to every morning. During our stay the electric company switched to a new power grid. To no fault of Honey, we were without power on the peninsula for over 24 hrs. As this sounds like a nightmare it really wasn’t. we played in the ocean, had the ocean breeze, and spent time together (there was a bbq grill we were able to cook meals on). Honey reached out and compensated a portion of our stay, which she did not have to do. Thank you Honey for going out of your way to make us feel at home! Overall, our whole family and friends rated this stay 5 stars! If you are looking for a place to stay in Crystal Beach we recommend you stay in this beautiful home.
