Hot Tub | Walk to Beach | Sleeps 18

Craven's Nest is a unique property featuring a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house with a completely distinct 1 bed, 1 bath mother-in-law suite. Both homes have separate driveways and entrances, and both offer phenomenal beach views from furnished decks! You are just a quick walk or ride to the beach from this property.

The beautifully decorated great room in the main house has ample seating, a large TV, and a spacious dining table. This is all open to the fully stocked kitchen, with all the modern appliances and cookware you will need to cook and serve your favorite meals. Coffee lovers will appreciate both the Keurig and regular drip coffee makers. For your convenience you will also find a washer and dryer, and high speed internet.

The main house sleeps 14 comfortably The primary bedroom features a king bed, and an ensuite bath with separate tub and shower. The second bedroom also has one king bed, and the third bedroom has one queen bed and a twin bed with trundle. The bunk room is great for kids -with two sets of twin over twin over twin bunk beds (sleeping 6).

The separate cottage has a seating area, kitchenette, and a queen bed in the open studio area. There is also a full bathroom. Upstairs you'll find a cozy loft with two twin beds, so it comfortably sleeps 4.

The location is great. The house is nice. It really has the home away from home feel! Comfort and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you may need. Love that it had a 12 cup coffee pot, and if you're not powered by coffee it has the 1 banger too. If you plan on cooking and love your spices like we do be sure to bring your Spicy's. We were blessed to have 4 generations of family with us from ages 10mo-78, so if you have mature family members that have medical issues that make stairs a challenge, don't overlook the lift is not for guests part like I did. In the back of the house is a separate studio apt w/a loft that has 2 twin beds and a deck with an excellent view. It's great for family members with a baby who need their own privacy and/or those naps no one wants to take. The beds are comfy no matter which room you're in. It's a great time and I would definitely stay there again, just with 3 generations of family. It was definitely family based which is great! Love that it had corn hole, which we didnt get to play. Love that it a high chair and a baby seat. The children (& adults) love the swings and sand toys! Have already recommended to 9 other people. The management has great communication making check in and out and anything in between super easy and their response time is excellent.

We’ve stayed I. Galveston almost every year for about 10 years at this time of year and always at different places. This home absolutely met our needs with grandparents and grown kid/families visiting for the holidays. We were super close to the beach: taking the ferry to town was actually part of the attraction for us. The kitchen was perfect for family meals with lots of seating. The patio was like an extra extended living space that gave us lots of room to visit and be entertained. Would definitely consider this location again.

First the communication that the host and I had throughout this entire process went above and beyond any that i had ever encountered. Everything was perfect. My husband and i and our guests can not say enough good things about this place. If you have the chance, stay here. Having morning coffee on the deck while reading my BIBLE and listening to the waves is an experience in itself. Thank you for allowing us to spend our week at your lovely home. We look forward to another stay in the future.

Amazing Stay!

We (3 families with kids of all ages) stayed here for 4 nights for a mini family reunion - it was a wonderful time! The main house and back cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed! The location was perfect as well, being seconds away from the beach. We had a little issue getting the lockbox to open during check in, but we eventually figured it out. Check out was a breeze! I definitely recommend staying here!
