Cottage a Port Matilda

“Beautiful quaint cabin 15 minutes from Penn State. The hosts are the nicest people. Stayed for the weekend so we could go to the game. Was the perfect place to stay. There’s so much family history in that cabin, was glad we could stay there. ”

“Property was very clean and very quiet. Only a few problems….the toilet seat was broken, they didn’t provide enough toilet paper and paper towels (luckily we had our own) and they didn’t provide dish towels to dry dishes. Also be warned that there is no AC, but they do provide a fan. Overall though, good unique experience. ”

“The charming cottage was the perfect location from which to explore Bald Eagle State Park, State College and the entire area. The cottage also has a gas grill right on the front porch and a lot of room to spread out. My husband and daughter rode their dirt bikes during the day, while I visited the Seven Mountains Wine Cellars and nearby towns. Our hosts, Will and Dana, were extremely responsive which made for a stress free stay. ”

“We stayed here 3 nights for a wedding at Rolling Rails Lodge. The house is beautiful and was 20 minutes to the wedding venue. 30-35 min from State College. They had everything that we needed. The owners were very nice and very accommodating They brought us a large full length mirror and extra extension cords so we could all get ready on the wedding day. Also in\near Black Moshannon State Park I’d stay here again”
