  • DECKADENCE ASSOLUTO è tutto ciò che il nome evoca. Il design degli interni crea un'atmosfera rilassata e costiera, con una cucina dello chef ben fornita, due forni e elettrodomestici inossidabile di alta gamma. Un muro di porte scorrevoli si apre su un portico schermato creando uno spazio di vita esterno tranquillo, offrendo allo stesso tempo l'osservazione della piscina e una vista mozzafiato sul Golfo.

    L'open space consente a grandi gruppi di riunirsi in cucina, sala da pranzo e spazi abitativi, mentre una seconda zona giorno offre un posto per il tempo "me".

    Delle 6 camere da letto, 3 sono fronte mare con vista libera. L'ultimo piano completo ospita la suite Grand Master con cabina armadio, terrazza privata sul golfo, divano svenimento, ufficio con divano letto e rotelle, e grande Master en suite con doppio lavabo, vasca idromassaggio, doccia a gradino e WC separato .

AMAZING STAY!

We had the most wonderful week at Absolute Deckadence! The house was absolutely perfect! It was beautiful, clean, and so comfortable and spacious. The layout was wonderful for us with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. The pictures give a very good description, and I would say it was even better in person. We will definitely try to stay at this house again. Having the pool made a huge difference, and we enjoyed it so much!

Family-3 generations

We came back to the Cape after a 10 year absence with my in-laws, sister-in-law, our kiddos along with their significant others and 2 small puppies. While some of the Cape has been built up the peacefulness, beauty and calm still remain. The house was nice, clean and large enough for our family of 11 and the elevator was a bonus. The management was very responsive when we did need them for a few small incidents. I wish we would have know to bring our own hand towels/dishcloths for the kitchen, my only small issue. Overall, a great place to stay!!

Wonderful stay

We had a really nice stay with 11 adults and 3 teens. Beautifully decorated house with well-stocked kitchen. Great outdoor furniture. The house layout was comfortable and had enough separated areas to allow us to spread out and still be comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and spa, but be aware it is a spa and not a hot tub so it only warms 10 degrees above outside temp. That said, it was 77F outside so we still enjoyed it during the Christmas/New year week! We’d recommend getting bikes for easy transportation to a couple of local spots for seafood, ice cream, liquor store, grocery. House was generally well maintained. A few issues arose but rental agency was quick to respond. Couldn’t get air conditioner serviced due to illness of a member of our party, so top floor was too warm to sleep. A few other relatively minor issues were resolved promptly.

Not worth the price; feel deceived and cheated.

Although the home was roomy and in a great location on Cape San Blas, we are extremely disappointed with this vacation home because of several serious issues, some of which were never resolved during our stay even though we notified the rental company (Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals). Issues included 1) the hot tub would not heat, 2) the lock on the pool room door was broken and not functioning, 3) the water to the home shut off completely one day for a while, and 4) the dining room and kitchen lights on the 3rd floor of the residence kept tripping a switch on the breaker box, which was located on the 2nd floor, and many times we had to flip the switch to get the lights back on. Annoying! We are also disappointed with Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals. They did not notify us of the non-working hot tub prior to our arrival. We had to learn about it from a pool service company employee who happened to be at the residence upon our arrival on Saturday, October 9. He told us the hot tub would not be heated all week because they were waiting for a part to repair it. We asked if the pool could be heated instead, and the pool company employee told us “No, because the hot tub heats the pool.” This was remarkable to hear because on October 3, we had emailed Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals and asked how much it would cost to heat the pool. Jessica Pitts, of Cape and Coast Vacation Rentals, replied on October 4, “The cost to heat the pool is $300.00.” We specifically picked a vacation home with a hot tub. The fact that the rental company did not notify me that the hot tub was not working and then told me I could pay $300 to heat the pool, even though it was not possible to do so, makes me feel deceived and cheated. For the price we paid, the quality of this home should have been much better. The only issue resolved during our stay was the broken lock (the lock was replaced). Deborah Mixon & Family

The pool was a definite plus because the gulf was tougher than normal and the weather was cloudy. The main living area and kitchen was roomy and easy for all 11 of us to gather to eat or play games.

We had to call maintenance to help us. It should be labled and clearly marked with instructions. We loved having the bar downstairs by the patio and the ice maker was a huge benefit. All the rooms were nice and plenty of space with closets and dressers. Nightstands leave a little to be desired as they are too small to really put anything on them. Kitchen set up and dining room were great and provided good space. The living room was too small and the furniture bulky so it was hard to gather there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great stay. We stayed at Absolute Deckadence for 4 weeks an worked and did remote school the whole time. It truly felt like a home away from home. We have since moved down the beach to another home, which really doesn't hold a candle to Absolute Deckadence. the only complaint we had was with the pool/hut-tub. We did not understand that if the temperature drops below 50 degrees, the pool heat automatically shuts off, which means, because they're connected, no hot tub either, which was a bummer on a few days. Also, the heat was just inconsistent. Sometimes it was 30 degrees warmer than the air, sometimes it was 10 degrees, no real rhyme or reason. But the home, was great. Kitchen is fantastic, space is well thought out and I LOVED having a dedicated office space since I was working remote. Also, C&C management was absolutely top notch!

We had an amazing stay at Absolute Deckadence. The home is fabulous with everything you need. It is beautiful and spacious. The location is perfect and the pool was an added bonus. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and decks. I could not have asked for a better vacation home.

The pool lights were not working well and night swimming with kids is hard in the dark. One of the bunk beds was sandy on arrival. Plenty of furniture on the main level screen in porch, but again, not really kid friendly as it's all very high bar chairs (plus our handicapped family member). And we frequently ran out of forks in between wash loads. We would love to stay in this house again, though. Again just some small details that take it to a 9/10 instead of 10/10.

Home Name Lives Up to The Experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've vacationed at the Cape about six times by my count, and this is one of the best homes we've ever rented. The interior was in excellent condition. The kitchen was well laid out. There are plenty of beds and bedrooms as well. The screened porch on the main level is a HUGE plus. The decor is festive and beachy. I would not hesitate to rent this house again. Having your own pool is a huge plus. We also loved the ground level bar area with the extra fridge and the huge ice machine. That comes in VERY handy. We paid extra to have the pool heated, and it made it very nice to use at any time of the day. I think this is a 5 star house, but it could use an exterior refresh as there is some trim and soffit still missing from hurricane Michael. We had no mechanical or maintenance issues. Only advice I'd give the owners is that it seemed like all of the knives in the kitchen were dull, and we really needed a pair of scissors....MINOR complaints. Lots of dishes, so we had no lack of those when needed. The location is great. Seems there is no truly congested place on the Cape, and although this house shares the boardwalk with two other homes, we always had a nice slice of beach front when we made our way down there each day.

The main floor (kitchen & living area) was on the 3rd floor - between the bedrooms on floors 2 & 3. My only complaint was the cooking pans. No a huge deal - but I do encourage guests to bring their own pans for cooking items like eggs.

All the beds were very comfortable and there were plenty. The kitchen has everything you need for any type of meal you want to fix. The elevator was a necessity for our families needs. The refrigerator and ice maker that is on the lower level is what you need when you have a large group of people (9 people). And we used the refrigerator and ice maker a lot. The pool was a big hit also. There’s plenty so seating for everyone. Over all this is a great place. We will be back!!!

Great house for large groups or families

Nice house with plenty of room for large families. Would have been nice if house had 1 more bathroom, but otherwise it was GREAT and we enjoyed our time there!!

For example: the ice maker in the kitchen was not working( there was a great ice maker in the poolside bar, but several flights down.)The kitchen sink sprayer would not turn off properly. Previous occupants had not cleaned up after their dog around the pool.

Second Time Around

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time spent in the house with a large group of friends and family. It works very well in having enough space to enable togetherness when wanted and alone time when needed. Our only disappointment was with the hot tub. The list of amenities for the house states the spa is heated at no extra charge. The older members of our group looked forward to spending time in the heated spa to soothe away aches and pains as we did the last time we rented the house. The hot tub was not heated. We called 3 days in a row for service to get the tub heated without any luck. We learned by chance encounter with the pool cleaning staff that we had to pay for the pool to be heated in order to heat the hot tub. It would have been useful to be told this during any of the 3 calls made to management instead of being promised they would come out and service it. The listing needs to make this clear on the website. So beware if this is something you'd like to use as it will cost a lot of extra money. Other than this snafu, we all enjoyed our stay on Cape San Blas very much. We were saddened to see how much damage the hurricane caused and how much more work is ahead. We have been vacationing in this special place for 28 summers and care a lot about everyone who lives and works here. Keeping our fingers crossed that this slice of heaven never has to go through another storm like this again. Our hearts are with you.
