With no high-rises or commercial strip development, the cape has a distinctly remote feel. Rolling dunes, sea oats, and miles of shoreline where it's easy to walk without seeing another soul. It's an ideal setting for families, couples, and anyone seeking a true escape, with vacation homes and cozy rentals tucked among the coastal pines.
The area is a haven for outdoor recreation year-round. Kayaking and paddleboarding through the still waters of St. Joseph Bay reveal seagrass beds full of sea turtles, rays, and horseshoe crabs, while the bay's shallow flats are legendary for seasonal scalloping.
