Spacious 5BR Single Family Beach House Perfect for a Large Group ~ Salty Breeze

There’s nothing like the feeling of salty breeze blowing across your skin. When you feel it, you will know vacation has officially begun. St. Joe Beach is a small beach community tucked between Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe. It’s a peaceful strip of shoreline with calm waters protected by the Cape San Blas peninsula. White sand, calm waters, salty breeze; need I say more?

Located two blocks from convenient beach access, Salty Breeze is a single-level 5-bedroom house. On the roadside, there is plenty of parking for multiple cars or a boat. With a covered deck on the front and an open sundeck on the back of the house, the hardest decision will be dinner in the shade or out in the open. The layout of this beach home is such that space is abundant and perfect for a larger group of up to 12. The living area includes a large kitchen ideal for hanging out in, a dining area, and a living room that flow into one another.

Gulf County and St. Joe Beach are destinations enjoyed by visitors year-round. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Whether that be fishing, live music, fall sunsets, summer fun, or wintering at the beach, to name a few, Salty Breeze will be waiting to welcome you.

Green pool

Pool was green and had dead frogs and hairballs floating. Pump was not running. Called immediately about it heard back the next day saying someone would come. I went ahead and shocked and clarified it as well as starting the pump. Someone showed up two days into our stay to work on it but I already had it cleared up. House is nice for a double wide trailer.

Nice laid back vacation

We stayed for a week during Fall break. Since there were no prior reviews I’m going to try to be thorough. Let me start with the pros: The house was spacious. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and we had plenty of room. The house was very clean. There is a ton of outdoor furniture and we spent a lot of time on the front porch. The back porch table could use an umbrella to supply some shade. I wanted to eat dinner out there but the sun was too bright. The internet was very fast and my husband was able to work remotely all week. There are nice, large tvs in every room. There is no desk so we bought a folding table and set it up in the bedroom. We cooked every day and we had enough kitchen supplies. We had an issue with the pool alarm on the door and the management company was very responsive. The distance to the beach is about 2 blocks. We rented a golf cart which made it very easy to get to the beach. We used barefoot rentals and she was very easy to work with on a last minute rental. I also met the owners of Laid back cart rentals and they were very nice people. The beach was absolutely beautiful and not crowded at all! There is a dollar general a couple blocks away and a grocery store about 10 minutes away. Cons: We did encounter a couple loose dogs on our walk to the beach that made me uncomfortable with my kids. You are not allowed to cross the main beach road on a golf cart so we had to park and walk across which was a little tricky with small kids. Also, the pool was very cold ( it was October). I’m not sure if pool heat was available but if so I should have paid for it. It was a wonderful trip and we would gladly stay here again.
