  • Questa casa di famiglia ideale con una vista senza ostacoli del Golfo del Messico, si trova direttamente dall'altra parte della strada da St. Joe Beach, mettendoti a pochi passi dalle nostre splendide spiagge di sabbia bianca. Alpha Blu è un 2 camere da letto, 2 bagni all'ultimo piano situato in posizione ideale in un angolo lungo l'autostrada 98. All'arrivo, rimarrai colpito dal paesaggio decorativo e dalle pietre miliari opportunamente posizionate in tutto il cortile, insieme a un ampio parcheggio al piano inferiore e ad un'area coperta da terrazze per attività all'aperto. Noterai anche mentre entri nella proprietà, una grande lavanderia e un'incantevole area recintata che racchiude un piccolo cortile privato e tranquillo con arbusti naturali della Florida sul retro; un luogo perfetto per la famiglia e gli amici per godersi un po 'di tempo libero dalla spiaggia. Che posto perfetto anche se si sceglie di portare con sé il proprio familiare a quattro zampe (si applica una tassa per animali domestici).

    La breve rampa di scale si apre su una grande cucina aperta che invita a mangiare e rilassarsi, ma con la separazione delle camere da letto, ognuna con il proprio bagno, anche la possibilità di godere di due coppie. Se voi ei vostri bambini desiderate un posto tranquillo e poco affollato nella sabbia, con acque tranquille e sicure per nuotare, pescare o altre attività all'aria aperta, non cercate oltre. Mentre ti rilassi sull'ampio piano di calpestio che si estende su tutta la parte anteriore di questa fantastica casa vacanze, potrai goderti fantastiche viste al mattino presto e in tarda serata e la sensazione di rinfrescante brezza marina dello splendido Golfo del Messico che creerà sicuramente bei ricordi che durerà tutta la vita Una volta saliti la breve rampa di scale, la proprietà si trova su un unico livello, rendendo l'accesso semplice e facile. La casa è anche un breve viaggio a piedi per un eccellente ristorante di pesce locale. Alpha Blu è un albergo economico, confortevole e situato in posizione comoda per la vostra prossima vacanza rilassante sulla spiaggia.

The location was perfect. Across the street from the beach and the seafood restaurant was in walking distance. Really pleased with our visit.

We had a wonderful time. Everything as promised. The only concern are the outdoor steps can be hazardous when wet. We would definitely stay again.

Great stay

Our stay there was wonderful. The only negative was the condo building across the street blocked our view of the sunset. The house was clean and comfortable. Our dog loved the wrap around porch and the neighbors dogs.

Excellent!

Very much enjoyed my stay. The location and view were great. It rained the first day… was so glad to have a covered deck with a view. The place was clean and pretty comfortable. I would recommend other pillow options in the bed but otherwise the queen bed was comfortable for me. And please label the light switches lol… there were so many I couldn’t tell what lit what. The decor and such are dated…a good updating/renovation would do the place wonders but I would still stay here again regardless!

Ocean view

The location of the Alpha Blu was right on the edge of Port St Joe, as you leave Mexico Beach. This Vrbo is right on Highway 98, across the street from the beach and has a beautiful ocean view. There’s a lot of traffic on this hwy and the average speed of vehicles traveling seemed to be around 45mph. This created a bit of noise in the unit. The only options for shopping around are the dollar general less then 5 minutes away, (one cashier, tons of inventory unopened, and long lines), and then Piggly Wiggly about 15 minutes away. The time zones constantly changed on our phones, making it hard to keep track of time. Internet was great at the house; cell phone service in this area is unreliable. The rental space was open and provided ample space for mom, dad, dog + 9 year old & 9 month old boys. The furniture was very old - the sofa is small and the sleeper portion underneath no longer stays locked up underneath for stable seating, rather it is resting on the floor and causes the sofa to “sink” and be uncomfortable. The bed and pillows are very soft and flimsy and the box springs were VERY noisy, which made it hard with the baby sleeping in our room. The mattress seemed worn and we had back pain from the lack of support. This Vrbo had the bare minimum of supplies, nothing for the beach like I’ve seen at others. The neighbor is very close (shares the fence) and their yard is like a junkyard. Nice people there, plus two “vocal” dogs. Overall it met our minimum standards.

Visited Nov 4th-22nd 2022. Thought this was a great property, because of the location and the wrap around veranda. However, the interior was another story. First morning, when attempting to brew coffee, wasn't good. A Hamilton beech coffee maker: the plunger must be worn. It wouldn't allow the drip coffee to release into the pot, it took 20-25m to fill the pot. Kitchen utensils were flimsy, hidden all over the place in kitchen drawers. No large skillets and only a 2-slice toaster. Only 2 actual wine glasses. Others were from a "tasting" & small. I actually went to Dollar General and purchased a larger skillet, I left it. Went to Goodwill to get 2 more larger wine glasses. No cutting board unless you count what looks like a kid's placemat. The bedspread in the master bedroom was absolutely gross, it was dirty and stained, also worn. I finally broke down and washed it. A 100% better after being washed. The master bathtub is a bit scary. When you first get into the tub you have to be very careful, there is nothing to prevent you from slipping and falling, which is what happened to my husband, also no grab bars. The way to get the shower head to produce water, was a puzzle finally solved by a friend who noticed that you had to pull down a flange that was on the tub faucet. The sofa sleeper is worn out, looks nice but you sink when you sit, obviously much use & not cared for. The side tables, if you can call them that were too small too low. you really couldn't use them as a side table. The light switches are a nightmare, try and figure out which switch turns on what is a fun game of "flip that switch." Separate switches for ceiling fans and lights. It took us 3 days to figure out which switch was for the dining area light. Lamps were 3-way lighting but none of the bulbs were 3-way. The windows can't be opened, only 2 in the master bath can be opened. After a week you get use to the foibles. Just know the owner has a studio under you which is stated as "an artist may use while your there, which had I known I likely would have stayed elsewhere.

Great Place

We had a great stay back in September 2021. Great location with a short walk to the beach and to one of the few restaurants in the area. The beach wasn’t crowded and very chill. The yard had a lime tree and was fenced in, perfect for our dogs. It was a great place to stay.

Fantastic view/Beautiful property

We absolutely loved the views. The beach access was 2 houses away from the property. The home had everything we needed, everything worked well, it was clean. I would definitely recommend the property for someone who loves the beach and enjoys riding bikes. There were several good restaurants nearby.

Great location, poor communication and needs repairs/updates

I would like to start by saying the location of this house cannot be better. Simply cross the street and you are on the sand. First issue we were told the downstairs part of the house is storage for the owners and the entire property is private. When we arrived there was someone downstairs doing who knows what and then left hours later. Then on thanksgiving day they showed up again and stayed hours. This was one thing that took away from our private vacation home. Second was the house next door is literally on top of you. The people there seemed friendly but one of their dogs tried to bite my dog through the fence. There was glass in the yard that my dog cut his foot on. The doors were difficult to open and close to the deck. If you need anything for cooking, bring it all there isn’t even salt and pepper. There were very few pans to cook on the stovetop with. We were given one package for the dishwasher and one for the washing machine but no soap to wash anything in the kitchen. The couch is so small but we found out that it is also a pull out bed. The seating in the living room is odd and a tiny table to set anything on. The master bathroom must have had a leak under the sink since there was a container underneath to catch water. The wall next to the bathtub is peeling. There were underwear left in the dryer. It was very cold at night and we had to use 2 thin blankets to cover up with. The light switch situation is a nightmare and you have to turn just about every light on at a lamp. The only thing within walking distance is a dive bar and one good seafood restaurant. We enjoyed our stay because it was easy to go back and forth to the beach area which was why we were there. Also the views from the porch are fantastic. There is some needs to be addressed with this property especially for the cost.

Alpha Blu was nice!

Some wear and tear/damage to the property, but nothing that affected our stay. There was also some broken glass in the backyard that should be cleaned up. Location is really nice. Walkway to the beach is about 1 house down so very convenient. Beach was very nice. Biggest issue was the lack of restaurants in the area. Also the restaurants that were there often did not answer and there phones or would not accept carry out orders. We specifically selected this location in the hopes that it would not be very busy and we could enjoy a Covid cautious vacation. If we returned again we would plan on dining in for all our meals to avoid this daily stress.

Review of property condition

The fenced in backyard is a problem. The back yard was full of broken glass, roofing nails and pieces of roofing tar paper. Whoever built the fence did all the nailing from the outside and the nails were too long, so the the sharp end of the nail is exposed on the inside of the fence. The french doors on the front needs work, you have to slam the doors in order to get them shut. Just a suggestion, every woman needs a cutting board for meat and one for vegetables. The electric can opener does not work, needs to be replaced. Who ever does you cleaning did not do a very good job. Overall we had a nice stay and would consider coming back. I'm not really complaining about the items I mentioned just suggestions. I realize the owners of these facilities went through a terible storm and it takes a lot of time to recover.

The property still needed some work before it had guests. The yard and driveway were full of glass and nails. Our truck tires did not fare very well, unfortunately. The yard had weeds up to my knees. Our fridge did not work and we lost quite a bit of meat and perishables. There was no laundry facility even though it was advertised to have a large laundry room. We had to go to Port St. Joe during the day and wash laundry which cost a pretty penny. The appliance repair man was great and got the fridge up and running. We did however LOVE the interior of Alpha Blu and that great porch and view! We are so heartbroken for your area and all the people who lost so very much in the hurricane. We will be returning to Port St. Joe Beach next year about the same time and will be checking to see the progress made on Alpha Blu so we can book it again. Thank you, Darlene

Great views of the St Joe Beach - spacious and clean!

Super clean, spacious kitchen, living room and master. Fenced yard for our furry friends and just walk across the street for the beach. We loved our vacation at Alpha Blu and we would definitely reccomend it to anyone wanting a nice relaxing place to stay close to St Joe beach!

Stinky!

Alpha Blu had the red light to come on and the neighbor came over that we needed to call someone to come check on it. We called and they said they would have someone out to check out the septic system. When we returned to the house the odor was horrendous. We opened all the doors and turned on the fans and it did not help even after running water throu the sinks, tubs and flushing all of the toilets. We called Pristine properties 4 times during our stay and no one ever came out to check on the situation until the very last day when we were packing up to return home. The smell of the unit was off and on the whole time of our vacation and smelled absolutely awful. Smelled like sewage, absolutely the worst odor. No one ever offered any resolution or help with the situation. I will never stay there again!

Wonderful family vacation

Home has well stocked kitchen and was immaculate when we arrived. Our stay was perfect with lots of parking if you bring your boat. We stayed the week of the 4th and you could see fire works in both MB and St. Joe. We will return again.
