Discover TipSea Turtle, a charming first tier property just a short walk over the dunes from the beach using the boardwalk right outside your door. Enjoy expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico from spacious decks, take relaxing bike rides on the 9.3-mile Cape San Blas trail, or appreciate the easy access to Salinas Park and the captivating history of Port St. Joe, both only a short drive away.

Reviewer Comments: House is set up perfectly from the 2 min walk to the beach, nice pool, fun little bay park nearby, and quiet non crowded white sand beaches. Kids loved it, and Adults loved it. We have vacationed in the Santa Rosa Beach area for over 10 years and this was by far the best set up place overall we have stayed. Only thing Santa Rosa/Destin area has on Cape San Blas/Port St. Joe Area is much more clear oceans.

Excellent!!

We had a wonderful time here. The home was gorgeous spacious and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes silverware and cookware. The walkway to the beach was very well kept and just a short distance from the Tipsy Turtle. You could sit outside on the screened in porch and watch and listen to the waves of the ocean. The only downfall to our trip was the weather, it rained much more than we anticipated. We still had an awesome time!!! Thanks!! We hope to see you again soon!!!! Kelley Phillips and family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very enjoyable stay at Tipsea Turtle. This is the second time we have rented this home. We love the location and layout. We took note that the new owner had replaced some of the furniture especially on the two decks - very nice. We did, however, have a couple of issues. First of all, one of the upstairs toilets was running constantly. A service person came out but his fix only worked temporarily. Secondly, we had trouble with using the two outside grills. We ran out of propane after only a few minutes and all of the tanks on the property were empty. At my expense, I exchanged one of the tanks for a full one.

Family vacation

This house was beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for our family. The location was perfect for a family with little ones since it is so close to the beach. The pool was a nice bonus as was the proximity to Salinas park. We will book again.

Tipsea was Great

Everything is great about this place. The only possible complaint I could have is that the pool has zero shade. No umbrellas or any coverings. Other than it’s a really nice place.

Much needed R&R

First off, the house was spotless and in the perfect area, it was Beautifully decorated and supplied with all our needs. The beach was a short distance and so was the necessary shopping and dining. Indian Pass Raw bar and St. Joe Seafood are must do’s. We found that everyone we met was very welcoming and friendly. The pool was perfect for the afternoons and evenings after the beach. Baytown Property management was amazing to work with. We will definitely be back.

Location across from the bay park where you can put in Kayaks, grill/picnic insect free, and roam or drive the beach....walk to music entertainment and pick up a wonderful dinner....quiet neighborhood....well maintained...easy access to awesome! The home offered everything in kitchen and baths....thoughtful for the renter. Outside space was really nice.....fire pit to crystal clear and clean pool....we loved this property....we have rented six times on the cape and really enjoyed this home....Baytowne was so exceptional....

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a good location with easy walk to the beach. The bathroom locations were a little weird with the kids room being the only room with a private bathroom. The cable/satellite tv didn’t work in several rooms including the living room, the ice maker in the refrigerator didn’t work, both propane tanks for the grill were empty, there were rat nests along the bushes by the pool with the rats running back and forth continuously, and the previous guests didn’t put the trash at the road properly making the trash overflowing upon our arrival. I reported several of these issues immediately upon arrival on Saturday and was told the earliest they could look at anything was Monday. Nobody followed up and I had to call management back. I was told that they would send somebody to repair the refrigerator and cable/satellite services. The refrigerator repairman came but he was unable to fix it and we had no ice for the entire week. No repairman came to fix the cable/satellite services and we were without tv the entire trip. We were told that the rats by the pool were protected. The management company did reimburse me the propane and offered to reimburse for the ice but it was still an inconvenience to deal with these issues.

The grand kids (4 of them) slept in the bunk room and loved it. There were 3 other bedrooms for the adults. The large den area was big enough for all of us to read or watch tv. The house is just across from the walkway to the beach. If not for the tropical storm that brought heavy rain for the first 3 days, it would have been perfect. Great house and great fun.

Reviewer Comments: We had 4 adults and 3 children for our vacation and plenty of room to spread out.The neighborhood location was a perfect spot quiet, view of the ocean, beautiful walkway to beach . Neighbors were very friendly . The pool , grounds and house seemed brand new and very good quality . The house was very clean and good linens / extra beach towels to use . Our only complaint was the two king beds upstairs share a bath which made it a bit awkward . Then wifi also was difficult to use for a movie or satellite radio at pool or beach . Understood though with more of a remote location . A few other odds and ends .. moldy spices on counter , grill brush needed replaced , need more lamps the light switches have no dimmer and bedrooms are too bright. A few more rugs in bath and bedrooms would have been nice . ( there also was a bats nest under carport by pvc piping that needs addressed)

We had a few hiccups but Baytown properties were so nice to work with they were very accommodating to work with us and help us out in anyway they could, it was very much appreciated.

Relaxing stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was wonderfully located on the second row from the beach. The beach boardwalk is located across the street making it easy access. The house came equipped with everything and the pool was huge. We loved TipSea Turtle's location to Port Joe a short 15 min drive for grocery shopping and restuarants.
