THINGS TO KNOW
*The village pool is heated in the winter, but we do not control when it`s heated or not. The HOA is in control of heating the pool and the pool maintenance. Our private pool can be heated for a fee.
*Parking notes: No passes or codes are required. There are also no RVs, boats, or trailer parking permitted.
*An outdoor shower for rinsing sand off is located on the side of the garage.
*Parking is available in the driveway only and for 2-3 vehicles. Please note that boats, trailers, and RV`s are NOT permitted. Street parking is not allowed.

A few reminders for your trip:
- A minimum set of basic toiletries are provided
-We suggest you bring additional toiletries for your stay
-One towel, one washcloth, one hand towel are provided per guest.
-While all of our homes do have internet, it can`t be guaranteed. If your internet were to go out, you would need to plan on using a mobile hotspot or another option for your wifi needs.
-Be aware of the UV levels, some days it`s dangerous to be in the sun for too long
-Rip Tide Warnings - the riptide can be worse on some days, so it`s important to keep
watch on this.

*This property has 3 exterior security cameras: 1 camera at the back of the home facing the pool and back entrance, 1 camera at the front of the home facing the driveway, and 1 doorbell camera at the front door. These cameras monitor the pool area, back entry, front entry, and driveway. Two cameras, not the doorbell, may be unplugged by guests if desired. There are no indoor cameras or cameras in private outdoor spaces.
🏖️ Beach & Sand Management Rinse off sand: Guests must use the outdoor hose before entering the home. No sandy clothes in the dryer: Shake out and wash sandy items thoroughly first to prevent sand from destroying the dryer drum.

Keep gear outside: Beach chairs, umbrellas, surfboards, and toys must be stored in designated outdoor bins or garages. Indoor furniture stays indoors: Under no circumstances should indoor chairs, cushions, or blankets be brought onto the beach or deck.

🌊 Wildlife & Environmental CareTurn off outdoor lights: Switch off patio and balcony lights at night during sea turtle nesting season to avoid disorienting hatchlings. Remove beach gear nightly: Local ordinances often mandate that all personal items be cleared from the beach by sunset.

No fireworks: Pyrotechnics are strictly banned due to fire hazards on coastal dunes and local safety laws.

🏡 General Property & Maintenance Keep doors and windows closed: Running the air conditioning with open windows creates intense condensation, mold, and system failure. Secure the property: Lock all entryways and lower window blinds whenever you leave the home to protect against coastal winds and theft.

No smoking or vaping on premises.

Rinse off before the pool: Guests must rinse off salty water and sand before swimming to protect the pool filtration pump.

👥 Guests, Noise & Community Strict occupancy limits: Only the exact number of registered guests listed on the booking are permitted overnight. No unapproved visitors: Day visitors are often restricted or require advance host approval to prevent crowded beach parties.

Quiet hours: Standard local quiet hours typically span from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM Sunday through Thursday, 10 PM to 8 AM Friday-Saturday only.

🧹 Checkout Expectations: Empty the refrigerator: Dispose of all perishable food and open groceries before leaving. Run the dishwasher: Place used dishes in the dishwasher and start the cleaning cycle.

Manage the trash: Place all bagged garbage into the outdoor bins.
