“Perfect location for pen y fan and local walks. The food was amazing however the bar did lack atmosphere and was pretty tatty. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Alot of the decor needs modernisation and attention to detail. We paid more for superior room but there was nothing superior about it other than the room size was slightly larger. Furniture was scratched and damaged and bathroom was very dated and in need of minor repairs. Would have probably been top of range in the 90s but...

“My second stay here in the last couple of months and once again I was not disappointed. I stayed on the main building with a lovely room. I used the gym facilities and instead of dining elsewhere, decided to stay on site and eat at their restaurant. The food was utterly delicious and completely vindicated my decision. “Overall good, couple of niggles. It's located by a motorway and it is noisy as the windows dont shut properly. The breakfast was great apart from the bacon, which they cook folded in half so one side is crispy and one side is soft.”
