“The rooms were very clean. The bed was very hard so if you like a soft bed this won’t do. The breakfast on both mornings were very poor burnt toast served with over cooked bacon. “We had a lovely spacious room with a comfortable bed, a bonus was the beautiful views of the river through the wide full height windows. Only downside was the lack of a cooked breakfast which is not available. There isn’t a table in the room so we had to sit on the single chair and blanket box to eat the cereals provided, not ideal when you want to fortify yourself for the SWCP walk.
