The 5-bedroom townhouse is yours - no shared living spaces. The attached Studio 2 is a separate booking and is not included.

Kerns is Portland’s rising star. Featured by Time Out among the Coolest Neighborhoods in the U.S. in 2024, it’s where creative energy meets convenience. The neighborhood is home to some of the city’s best food, like Screen Door, Canard, and Slow Haste coffee, plus cozy coffee shops, bakeries, taprooms, and Whole Foods nearby.

Tree-lined streets make it ideal for walking, and nearby cultural venues like Revolution Hall and Laurelhurst Theater offer classic Portland experiences. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway, a family trip, or a work retreat, this location puts you at the center of it all.

Getting Around:
🚶 Walking — You're near Portland's Kerns neighborhood, with the NE 28th Avenue restaurant row plus cafes, shops, and Whole Foods nearby.

🚌 Bus — Several TriMet lines run on nearby streets, including Line 19 (Glisan) and Line 20 (Burnside/Stark), with service to downtown Portland. Check trimet.org for the best route.

🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share is another option. Portland's bike lanes make cycling a great option for exploring nearby neighborhoods.

🚗 Driving — Free public street parking is subject to posted signs and open spaces. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is another option.

✈️ Airport — Allow for traffic when driving to PDX.

Other Things to Note:
These townhouses share walls and the property is nestled near a freeway - urban noises can be audible at any given time. Sound can also travel from the separately booked attached studio, especially in the ground-floor bedroom.

This four-story home has three interior stair flights and no elevator. The kitchen, full bathrooms and laundry are upstairs.

🚭 No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.

Interaction with Guests:
We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
