Garden Bonus – Fresh Berries & Peas in Season!
Raspberry and blueberry season runs April to July, and guests are welcome to help themselves during their stay! You’ll find fresh berries ready to pick during Summer. Perfect for breakfast, snacking, or adding to a summer dessert. A few other garden items sprout during mid spring and through summer. Sweet peas, carrots, tomatoes, squash…etc. Please pick, eat, and enjoy whatever the garden has to offer while you're here. It's a simple pleasure that makes your stay feel just a little more special.

Heads Up:
The front yard and parts of the backyard are still being landscaped — but the home itself is fully ready, Gardeners come every other Tuesday. They will be mowing and adding foliage to the yard. We’ve adjusted our rates accordingly while we finish exterior upgrades.

Please note: There are a couple areas on the sides of the house that are not suitable for small children. We’ve added visible barriers and signage, and we kindly ask that children be supervised when playing outside. This will only last until the landscaping is complete. We appreciate your patience.

Located in a quiet neighborhood with convenient access to public transit and local parks. Hop on the MAX line or explore nearby farmers markets, hiking spots, and breweries.

  • The California Condor was a common sight along the Columbia River in Lewis and Clark's day. By the early 1980's, there were only twenty-two left on the face of the planet, all in California. Today, thanks to a massive effort to re-populate the species via in-captivity pairing, there are some two-hundred members. But their recovery is far from assured. The Oregon Zoo has undertaken its own recovery effort whose ultimate goal is the re-introduction of the species into the protected wilderness area around the Columbia River Gorge. In short, to bring them home. For now, they live out their days in a vast, outdoor aviary designed specifically to mimic their habitat in the wild. If you have never seen one up close before, I urge you to come take a look. They are larger than any flying bird you will ever see, unless you go to Peru. And though black and white practically from head to toe, their plumage shines and reflects the light like dark, polished metal. If that doesn't suit your fancy, I will tell you that, as with all big birds, if you wait around long enough, they will do something so awe-inspiring that it will take your breath away, and something so goofy that you will laugh out loud. This home is amazing! Everything you could possibly need was provided. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of pillows and bedding. The host was comuniticative and friendly. I could not have asked for a better place for our vacation home base.

The house was very clean and easy to be in. The kitchen was well equip. We enjoyed the blueberries in the garden and the barbeque. The coffee was fine but Keurig coffeepot was a pain to use. We thought having only one bathroom would be a challenge but it worked out fine. The house met our needs nicely. When we first drove up to the house the neighborhood gave us concern. It looked a little sketchy. It turned out to be just fine.

A cozy, well-kept, and tastefully decorated house with all the amenities we could think of needing, and in a quiet neighborhood away from busy streets. Easy entry and very basic checkout instructions helped to make this a hassle-free getaway. We'd stay here again!

Family visit

The property is very homey, Tanya was wonderful and welcomed us with cookies and everything anyone could need, we didnt have to buy shampoos blankets towels or even sodas. She was extremely helpful and easy to get in touch with. I love the growing raspberries and blueberries, they were delicious. It was a great touch to an already beautiful and comfortable place. I look forward to staying here afain when family visits happen.
