Conveniently located in the Piedmont neighborhood-- walking distance to restaurants & bars as well as shopping & many other amenities. Blocks to Farragut Park and public transit. Easy access to I-5 & PDX Airport. Sleeps up to (5) w/ two King Beds & a sofa sleeper. Kitchen, W/D, FREE street parking!

The Space:
#StayinMyDistrict Piedmont! This spacious & private basement apartment is located below a cozy Mid Century home. The apartment is on the lower level of the home has a separate entrance and requires going down a flight of stairs. There is a yard but is not for guest use it is a private space belonging to the tenant of the main home. Modern style and updated touches make the space ready to be enjoyed! Conveniently located in the Piedmont Neighborhood- walking distance to bars, restaurants, shopping & amenities. Blocks to Farragut Park & public transit. Easy access to I-5 and 15 minutes from Portland International Airport.
Kitchen has been recently updated with stainless steel appliances and has plenty of space to cook some lovely meals. Refrigerator, stove & oven, microwave, coffee maker, and some small appliances. All utensils & cookware are included to make eating in convenient and enjoyable. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner seated at the dining table! There is a dining table in the main living room with chairs to accommodate (4), as well as a bistro bar table in the kitchen with (2) bar stools if you need to grab a quick bite.
Snuggle up with a book or watch a movie on the comfortable couch with chaise lounge. Perfect for relaxing at home. Smart TV, with Netflix & Amazon and wireless Internet. Sofa also pulls out to a sofa bed for additional guests and there is additional seating in living area. There is also a desk, perfect for working remotely.
There are two bedrooms, both with a comfortable King bed with quality linens. There is closet space and hangers for storage of guests clothing and personal items. There is an additional desk located in one bedroom, as well as a reading chair in another!
The bathroom has a stand up shower, as well as plenty of space to get ready for the day! Essentials-- including paper products, shampoo & conditioner, and high quality linens, are provided for guest. A hair dryer and an iron/ironing board complete the necessities.
Full size washer/dryer is provided for guest use and is located in the kitchen.
Private exterior entrance, and FREE street parking.
A pack and play, babysitter recommendations, and children’s kitchen items make this home a comfortable space for families to enjoy.
**NOTE: This is a basement apartment and the owners live above. It is located under the main level of the house, there are multiple stairs leading down the the apartment. We do realize that sound travels and we have added earplugs, a fan and a noise machine/ Bluetooth speaker to help with sound. If you are a light sleeper this may not be a good fit.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire basement apartment with private entrance. Parking for this home is Free Street Parking. Owners live on site and wish to not be disturbed.

The Neighborhood:
The Piedmont neighborhood is the ideal urban village, boasting easy access to other popular Portland neighborhoods such as Humboldt, Alberta, Arbor Lodge, Boise, Eliot and Kenton, just to name a few. It is full of historic homes, amazing restaurants, little shops and coffee houses, and all within walking distance. All of the necessities are close by as well, for easy central access all around! It is located in the Piedmont district of Portland, with Alberta and Mississippi to the East, Downtown is just across the river to its West. It borders Lombard St, which can take you to just about any area of Portland. Piedmont Neighborhood is a great place for walking, bike riding, recreation, and enjoying all of the sights, experiences, and eats Portland has to offer!

Getting Around:
This property is located a few blocks from Lombard St and is minutes to Alberta & Albina districts, and less than 20 minutes to Downtown. Location is 15 minutes to PDX Airport and to Vancouver, WA. The neighborhood can easily be navigated without a car. The 75 Bus Line or UBER is a good option if you don't plan to bring a car. There is a bus stop within 3 blocks and it’s easy to cycle or walk to local amenities. It’s quite possible to never leave the neighborhood with plenty to do and see! Once you get downtown you can use the MAX light rail to get all over Portland Metro. As a residential area, Piedmont is very accessible by foot. And as Portland transportation has evolved to become more bike-friendly, Piedmont has kept up with the times, receiving a neighborhood bike score of 89 points. Whether you explore the neighborhood by foot or by bike, you can rest assured that this is pedestrian-friendly area for those who value having plenty of transportation options

Other Things to Note:
Portland City Code requires that we keep a log with the Name, Address and Vehicle Information for ALL guests. This will be required before check in. If you are renting a vehicle, we will need the License Plate number or we will need to note alternate transportation (ie; air, train, bike) Please provide this information with your confirmed booking.
~You may be required to provide a photo of your Drivers License or Government ID directly to the host. This is for the safety and security of both guests & property Owners, and will be requested at the discretion of Stay in My District.
~ No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10pm.
~ Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal.
~ Housekeeping is required and provided every 15 days for an additional charge on all stays over 15 nights.
~ Guests should acknowledge that there is potential for another guest below the home and even though floors have been soundproofed there is a potential for noise.
~This unit is NOT pet friendly.

We manage locally for owners and are always available via the Airbnb app. Please feel free to contact us if you need anything!
