Un angolo di paradiso
Ci siamo trovati molto bene in questa struttura nuova e molto bella, con personale molto competente ed in grado di farti sentire come a casa e di darti ottimi consigli per la vacanza. Prezzo un po’ caro ma in linea con quelli di questa zona molto esclusiva. Se possibile ci torneremo molto volentieri.....

Amazing stay at La Barbera. Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco were incredibly helpful with all aspects of our stay. The view from our terrace was spectacular! Breakfast was delicious! The hot tub was a plus! We would love to come back and stay longer next visit to the Amalfi Coast. Most beautiful B&B we have ever had the pleasure to stay at. If you are lucky enough to book La Barbera. Do not hesitate! It is everything.. and more.

Amazing place , the team really look after you one of the best hotels have ever stayed at incredible. Book direct though not through expedia, issues with flights also booked through them nearly ruined the holiday and have spent hours on with chat agents to sort it out and they are no help at all.

Ein tolles Haus mit liebevoll gestaltetem Ambiente. Unsere Zimmer hatten jeweils eine mega Terrasse mit Whirlpool und phantastischem Ausblick auf das Meer sowie Positano. Das Team ist super freundlich und serviert jeden Morgen ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Vom ersten Augenblick an fühlten wir uns willkommen und genossen die familiäre Atmosphäre. Zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit wurde auf alle Fragen und Anliegen eingegangen, zudem gab es Tipps und Informationen. Eine herzliche Umarmung und ein kleines Geschenk zum Abschied rundeten eine wunderbare Woche ab.

From the Prosecco on our arrival to the thoughtful gift on our departure, our stay at La Barbera simply couldn’t have been better. Silvia, Roberto, Francesco and the rest of the team constantly went out of their way to ensure that my wife and I had the best possible experience. The hotel (I know it’s technically a B&B, but it was so much more than that) is located high above the village of Praiano, with a spectacular view from each of the five rooms along the Amalfi coast past Positano and all the way to Capri. The hotel itself is cleverly designed and was spotlessly clean throughout, and our room was amazing, with a massage shower and a hot tub (an unexpected bonus!) just two of the many luxury touches. Breakfast, served al fresco on the terrace, was one of the highlights of each day and was an experience that will live long in our memories. Another of the highlights was dining at a number of the local restaurants and cafes (recommended by Francesco), all of which were excellent, both in terms of the quality of the food and drink and the friendly and efficient customer service. In summary, La Barbera was one of the best - if not the best - hotel that we have stayed in, and we both had a wonderful time. If you’re thinking about making a booking, do it - you won’t be disappointed!

The Team: Silvia, Roberto, Francesco, Gelsomina and Anna are the kindest, warmest people you will meet. You will instantly feel that your comfort is their top priority. You could not be in better hands. The Property: Immaculately maintained and so thoughtfully designed and curated. You could eat off the floors. It is so evident that there is a level of pride of ownership that is rarely seen. Anything that is supposed to shine, shines. The smells of the property evoke cleanliness. The Suite: Magical. What's important to call out is there's no real segregation between the "cheapest" and "most expensive" rooms. Anyone who's lucky enough to stay here will experience very much the same level of luxury, because the baseline of every suite is quite literally, luxury. The private terrace is the star of the show with sun loungers, a hot tub and outdoor shower! The Breakfast: Unreal. Creamy cappuccinos, detox water, fresh juices, homemade cakes, locally made cheeses, dairy and yogurt (life changing), fresh fruits, cold cuts, fresh bread... You will not find another breakfast like this anywhere. Overall: If I could give B&B La Barbera 10 out of 5 ☆, I would. We will DEFINITELY be back. This was the highlight of our vacation. Thank you, Team La Barbera!

Highly recommend!
We felt like family here. Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco were all so polite and accommodating. Sylvia greeted us and as we were between lunch and dinner yet hungry, she offered us some small bites to tide us over until dinner (which were amazing!). She helped us with making dinner reservations too. We had our 13 year old son with us and Sylvia was so nice to talk to him and make him feel special too. She also made sure we had a to-go bag of food and drinks when we had a 5 am taxi ride to our train. This was the best service I've ever had at a hotel or B&B. The room was amazing - the balcony and view just make it such a wow factor! We were able to walk to restaurants and shops, but I will warn that it is on the side of a mountain and there were a lot of steep stairs to get up and down! There is a bus available if you don't want to do stairs.

LaBarbera is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast, run by the most wonderful people. It is immaculately kept and is lovely. The rooms are spacious and have their own large patio. My room had a hot tub and overlooked the coast. The hosts go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The food is delicious with so many options. The communication was fantastic. I had many conversations with Roberta prior to our stay and she responded without delay. The only problem with the B&B was leaving because I did not want to leave!

amazing stay! stunning views of Positano coastline and sea. Silvia and Roberto were excellent hosts. very kind and friendly and mostly very helpful. We had a wonderful check in with a chilled beverage and tasty homemade sweets. Room was amazing, lots of shelf space inside. Beautifully appointed room newly renovated. Outdoor deck with hot tub and two lounge chairs top notch. Bedding very comfortable and a great shower. This BB is a must stay location!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay here. This was my first time in Italy and I enjoyed my stay here the most. First of all, I have never seen a hotel so clean. Impeccably clean! Sylvia and Roberto are kind and attentive. I was a solo travel and they went above and beyond to help me find dining options and transportation. The Amalfi Coast is not exactly the easiest place when it comes to transportation but the staff here made the experience less daunting and way more manageable. I highly recommend staying in Praiano for those who want to avoid the crowds. The private terrace was a major plus. Breakfast here was also a peaceful and enjoyable experience. I felt like I had my own slice of paradise. I highly recommend this place and if I am ever in the Amalfi Coast I will be staying here. Thank you so much for hospitality.

A beautiful dream. Our visit to Praiano was as if we had a stay at a Bed and Breakfast in the sky. We were surrounded by blue all around us. From the azure blue of the sea, to the blue of the decor and sky, we felt as if we had landed on top of an Italian cliff. Can’t thank the staff enough for their friendliness. The breakfast was a delight. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A slice of heaven!
If you're thinking about booking La Barbera, my advice would be just to do it - It was absolutely perfect and by far the best property we've ever stayed in! Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco went above and beyond to help us with planning every little detail of our trip to make it extra special and stress free for us from the very first moment that we arrived. The rooms and terrace are stunning, and the view is even better, it really does take your breath away. The room was completely spotless and tidy each day. One day we even came home to a birthday gift for my partner which was so sweet. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and it was so lovely to sit on the beautiful terrace each morning. Make sure to request the cake of the day with breakfast each morning, all of them were soooo tasty. We will not stop raving about this property, and the amazing hospitality that all of the staff provide. We hope to return very soon as I am not sure anywhere will beat this! Thank you for the best trip ever.

A dream come true!
B&B La Barbera was a dream come true for our long-awaited honeymoon! The staff (Sylvia, Francesco and Roberto) went out of their way to make our stay an unforgettable experience. From the welcome drinks (my fav was the lemon spritz) and beautiful flowers in our room, to the incredible breakfasts on the terrace and evenings spent in the jacuzzi tub overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, our expectations were far exceeded. A perfect stay!
The private hot tub overlooking the Mediterranean was what sold me, but it turns out this place has so much more to offer. This B&B checks all the boxes: stunning views, high quality accommodations, amazing staff, and great perks. I have never given a perfect 10 review, but this place easily deserves it and then some! The hotel was stunning, with attention paid to every detail. The rooms were beautifully decorated, large, comfortable, and clean. The hot tub on the patio was truly amazing, especially after a long day of hiking the Path of the Gods trail. The staff was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect stay, from the welcome drinks of fresh-squeezed orange juice, to the breakfast on the patio overlooking the Mediterranean. If you are coming by car, the fact that they have their own parking is a huge benefit on the Amalfi Coast. I wasn’t even planning on visiting Praiano, but I wanted to try this B&B and I’m glad I did. I would have stayed a week if I could.

The best of what Italy has to offer. Just Perfect
Place was exceptional!! Family run business and the customer service was just fantastic. Sylvia and the brothers are perfect hosts. The views are to die for and the rooms, terraces and public areas and so beautifully decorated. We had a room with a hot tub and this made our 25th anniversary perfect. Breakfast was the best we have had on our whole trip along the coast with the best yogurt ever. It’s a little bit of paradise. Even when I forgot something out the room Roberto came and brought it to the next hotel we were staying at! Thank you all. We will be returning 😊

This little bed and breakfast in Amalfi is perfection! The property is incredibly beautiful and clean. The staff made our trip extra special! The weather was not ideal during our trip but they made sure we had fun activities to enjoy PRAIANO in the rain. Would highly recommend Sergio’s Home experience cooking class. The breakfast was also incredible our favorite during all of our stay in Italy. We hope to be back again soon!

Wonderfully romantic!
We booked a room at La Barbera that included a private terrace with a hot tub, and with the most incredible view of the Amalfi coast, including a view of Positano. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable, with a real king size bed that was t simply two smaller beds pushed together. Service was off the charts. Location is a little tough because of all the stairs that connect the town, but totally worth it for the view and privacy. Would go there again

Heaven on Earth
This B & B is absolutely gorgeous. It truly took my breath away. My suite was spacious and so comfortable. The tiles are so pretty and all the attention to details are remarkable. Having a private balcony to sit and watch the sun set every night was magical. The view overlooking the town and the water was spectacular. The best part of this place though is the people. Roberto, Francessco, and Silvia are some of the nicest people I have met. The moment I arrived I was welcomed and treated like family. I was given a map of the area and given lots of recommendations about things to do and restaurants to eat at (both Kasai and Il Pino were amazing), and even printed out the bus schedule for me. Everytime I came back from doing something I was greeted and checked on if I needed anything. Breakfast was amazing. The food was delicious and plentiful. The best part of the mornings was to be able to visit with you and talk about all my exploration and plans for the day. Thank you for making me feel special. I truly had an amazing time and wish I had been able to stay longer. I will be back without a doubt.

Must stay here!
La Barbera is a heavenly place to stay in Amalfi! Their staff is so lovely and accommodating and helpful. They really know the area and gave us the best of recommendations. Praiano is the perfect place to stay on the Amalfi Coast, close enough to all the great spots but quiet and peaceful place to come home to. The rooms at La Barbera are small but new and beautiful and very clean. The outside terrace is something to be treasured! The views are breathtaking! You will not be disappointed, I could not recommend La Barbera higher!!!

If we could give La Barbera more than five stars we would. The setting is spectacular, the rooms comfortable and beautifully appointed with large terraces overlooking the ocean - even featuring an outdoor shower! Little extras were not overlooked such having a diffuser attachment for the hair dryer (which is a big deal for curly girls!), that I've never seen in all my years of travel. The owner, Sylvia, and her two sons that run the B&B were so lovely and helpful. They took care of our dinner reservations each night, securing tables with beautiful views, and gave great advice for getting around. We highly recommend La Barbera to anyone planning to visit the Amalfi Coast!

Faultless
We stayed for 5 nights at this beautiful B&B, in Praiano, but it's much more boutique hotel than B&B, and was a perfect base for us to explore the Amalfi coast. The La Barbera over looks the town and bay, our room was magnificent, a great size, with the balcony and its hot tub and loungers being a great location both to start and finish the day. Breakfast is served each day on the terrace using local produce and freshly baked pastries and cake. The owners Roberto and Francesco could not have been more helpful with their advice and help making restaurant reservations and arranging a pick up for our boat trip to Capri from the charter company. Even giving us a lift one evening to save a walk down the hill to the harbour was offered and gratefully accepted. Sylvie's and Barbara's smiling faces at breakfast and friendly chat makes you feel right at home and nothing is too much trouble for any of the team. There is nothing I can find fault with in this venue in its 2nd season of operation, and would recommend it without hesitation to anybody wanting a central base away from the hustle of other nearby locations such as Positano, and wish La Barbera continued success. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! My husband and I stayed here only 2 nights. I wish we could have stayed here our entire trip! Between all 7 cities and 7 hotels we stayed at this was by far our favorite. The room and hotel was absolutely immaculate and beautiful. And most importantly the staff-family- who runs it is amazing. They were courteous and prompt and catered to our every need with a smile. I would recommend this b&b to anyone.

What can I say about this property... it was perfect! Beautiful rooms decorated in white and blues that reflected the location by the sea. Comfortable beds, linens and pillows. Luxury bathrooms with modern body showers. There was a common area where you can have breakfast or just relax and soak up the view... and the view was spectacular! The breakfasts were amazing. Roberto greeted us on arrival with a glass of prosecco which was a nice touch. Each day we returned from our travels the staff offered us coffee, fresh lemonade or another drink. All the staff were gracious, friendly and helpful arranging dinners at local restaurants and making suggestions about other sites to see on our trip. They made you feel like family! Especially Silvia. She was delightful! I can't say enough about this place except I jealously wish I could keep it a secret! It will always be a special place to me.

Perfection!
We were in Italy for 16 days to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We visited 6 different cities, and all of our accommodations were fantastic, but La Barbera had the cleanest room, the best breakfast, a breathtaking view, beautiful decor, and the staff was top notch. One of the owners was actually checking our room after it was cleaned one day to ensure it was done well. They also made gluten-free treats for my husband to enjoy. We could see that the staff truly loved working there. La Barbera definitely deserves its 5 star rating. I recommend them without any reservations.

Absolutely Perfect B&B
This place is absolute perfection! No detail is missed and you feel so welcome the moment you walk in. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and some finger foods. We were pretty hungry and had asked for a sandwich. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomato was the best thing I ate the whole trip. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the views are stunning! Roberto and Francesco helped us with transportation, provided us with recommendations, and kept the wine coming! I wish every B&B was run like La Barbera! I will stay here again in a heartbeat if I ever make it back to the Amalfi Coast!
