Villa Poesia - Cozy Accommodation Experience

Welcome to Villa Poesia, an exclusive residence in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. The villa is spread over three levels and features three sea‑view terraces, each offering a unique and unforgettable panorama.

Outside, you’ll find a garden with a panoramic pergola, the perfect spot to relax in the shade while enjoying the coastal breeze.The outdoor area also includes a beautiful, non‑heated hydro‑massage pool with a chromotherapy shower—a true wellness oasis designed to help you unwind after a day at the beach or exploring the coast.

The entire villa is reserved exclusively for guests and is not shared with anyone else. This ensures maximum privacy, tranquility, and a completely independent stay.

The interiors of Villa Poesia are spacious, bright, and decorated in authentic Mediterranean style. The property includes: 3 comfortable and welcoming bedrooms, 3 modern and functional bathrooms (two with showers and one with a bathtub), 2 fully equipped kitchens and 2 bright living rooms.

To reach Villa Poesia, guests must walk up 160 steps (not consecutive), connected by pathways surrounded by centuries‑old olive trees. To make your arrival and departure easier, we offer complimentary porter service for your luggage.

Just a short walk from the villa, you will find: two supermarkets and a local deli for all your daily needs,three excellent restaurants serving authentic local cuisine,a bar and an ATM and a convenient bus stop with direct connections to: Praiano Beach (7 minutes) and the lively town of Positano (15 minutes).

The nearest airports are: Naples International Airport – Capodichino, located 65 km from Villa Poesia and Salerno – Costa d’Amalfi Airport, located 55 km from the property.

The Villa is large, comfortable, and could not be more beautiful or more meticulously maintained by Daniele, your host. The photos do not do it justice and the view is more than incredible. The AC units all work perfectly and we were always comfortable. Whatever you may need for your stay, Daniele has already thought about it. If you need a driver from the Airport or Train Station to the Villa, he's got that covered. Want to rent a captain and boat for a special day on the water? He's got the connections. Everything we ever asked of him, he delivered, and then some. He is 100% reliable and a man of his word, a rare commodity these days. Excellent restaurants right down the stairs, especially Kasai with its incredible views and amazingly great cuisine. My only words of caution are the many stairs one must climb to reach the villa. If you have mobility issues, find another rental. However, if you are in good shape, and climbing over 100 steps up to reach the villa is not a problem for you, and you are looking for a relaxing, top notch, private Villa to stay at on the Amalfi coast, then look no further. This place is gorgeous! (PS: There are porters to bring your luggage up and down the stairs when you arrive and leave, so that is not an issue.) Thanks again Daniele for making our stay a great experience. You are the best!

If you are considering the Villa Poesia, do not even think twice, just book it!! I just returned from a multi-generational trip with my family which included my parents, in their 70s and my sons in their 20s. Everything was wonderful, the views are beyond amazing. The pictures do not do it justice! We had the villa and cottage; each immaculate. Aside from the beauty of the villa and the charm of Praiano, Daniele our host was beyond welcoming and helpful! He arranged all our transportation, including the airport transports and daily transportation to our tours. He will help with reservations for tours, restaurants, etc. He checked in with us regularly just to make sure we didn't need anything and to confirm our reservations for the day. This was unlike any experience I've had renting with VRBO in the past! Praiano was the perfect home base. It is a beautiful, small and quiet town. We were easily able to plan day trips to Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi and Ravello. Do not be intimated by the stairs up to the villa, they are not so bad. My parents were able to do them, down and up each day, taking a couple of breaks along the way. There is also a wonderful little market at the bottom of the stairs with excellent meats, cheeses, prepared food, wine, and other essentials which was very convenient for evenings you don't want to go back out to dinner. The owners of the market also own a wonderful restaurant at the bottom of the stairs. I can only hope to return one day.

The View!

Daniele is a terrific host. He communicated with us from the moment we booked through our stay. I would say the only negative to the stay was the steps but frankly you would not get the view without them and it is spectacular. Take Daniele up on him grabbing groceries. The luggage was made easier as the porters were great. We took pride in showing people on a boat trip that where we were staying was the highest in Praiano! Our stay was fantastic. If you can, book chef Tomasso.

AMAZING! Don’t look anywhere else!

This Villa was the best vrbo, in the most beautiful setting I’ve ever seen. The villa is pristine and the views are spectacular. The host Danielle is so helpful and responsive. He had a nice chilled bottle of champagne for us upon arrival and he helped us with suggestions, directions, and anything we needed. We would come back here in a heartbeat.The location was perfect for visiting Positano, Amalfi, Capri, Ravello, and then coming back to Praiano for what felt like a slice of heaven. This villa elevated our trip to the Amalfi coast to the highest level. I give it the highest recommendation. You will be so glad you stayed here.

Spectacular views

This villa is absolutely beautiful. The inside living atea, kitchen and bedrooms are very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The terrace has breathtaking views of the Amalfi coast line. We were 6 adults occupying the villa and the attached self contained apartment. We spent many moments under the pergola or in the outdoor shower cooling off. Daniele was a perfect host always checking all was well. He arranged dinner reservations for us, made great suggestions for local companies such as chartered boats and obtained private drivers for our shuttles. What one must know is that steps up and down are necessary on any rental on the Amalfi coast. This rental is the same. There is no road to the front door. Daniele arranged for porters to transport our luggage to and from the villa. That said once you're there the views are worth it. We had a fabulous vacation in this gorgeous villa.

This villa in Praiano is spectacular. The views from the terrace are like no other . It is clean and comfortable . Our host Daniele was excellent to deal with and was very helpful. Highly recommend you stay here . There are a lot of stairs but all of Praiano is like that . Very lovely town .

Incredible villa, incredible host!

There really are no words to describe the beauty of the property or the magnificent views. The photos are beautiful but do not do justice! The villa and cottage were immaculate, with every detail carefully thought out. Daniele welcomed us with sincere warmth and was available for our every need, going above and beyond our expectations. Villa Poesia is a beautiful delight.

The villa was exactly like the pictures, clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. Our host was fabulous in helping us with transport and restaurant reservations. The patio is spectacular as it is really large and the back patio with the wicker furniture was a delightful place to spend an evening watch the moon and have a glass of wine. You will love this place. We were all in our 70's and the stairs were a little much but we did it and feel like we are in better shape than when we arrived!

Perfection with an Insane View

My goodness, you can't get better than this❣️ You won't even believe the view you wake up to every day. The square footage of the veranda is incredible. Every day you will continue to say, "I can't believe this is real." The entire villa is spotless and kept up in beautiful condition. It looks exactly like the pictures, but even better in person. The host Daniele will make sure you have EVERYTHING you need....and more. I highly recommend a night with Chef Thomas at the villa. The food was out of this world, along with the presentatin. Praiano is my preferred town to stay in, with easy access to all the other towns, along with 2 great beaches that have boat access for all your water tours. This is it, no need to look any further for your Amalfi stay. Beyond wonderful.

Amazing 3 week stay

We had an amazing stay at this villa. The hosts Daniele and his mother Julia are amazing souls who were very helpful in helping us navigating thru the Amalfi coast. The Villa is amazing with a magnificent view of the coast. The cleanliness of the Villa was impeccable. I don’t have a bad thing to say about the Villa. The outdoor shower is a nice touch. La Poesia is Favoloso!

I and my group cannot speak highly enough of La Poesia and Daniele Caputo and his mother Julietta who were our hosts. We have been to Europe many times and have stayed at some very nice places. La Poesia is at the top of the list. The property itself is gorgeous and the views from high above the sea are stunning. It is a magical place where a person could be very happy just spending long days on the patio overlooking the ocean and the rugged, steep hills plunging down to the water. The property is comprised of two units: a two bed, two bath unit on the upper level and a one bed, one bath on the lower. To look at the property you'd never know they are separate units. We rented both units for our group of three couples. The price? Unbelievably inexpensive when shared among three couples for a two week stay. Our hosts were so welcoming, so accommodating, so helpful and so patient with our several phone calls asking questions and seeking information. We hope that some day to return to La Poesia. It might not happen, but the place and Daniele and Julietta will be in our hearts forever. Go to La Poesia if you can. You will be very happy that you did so. I did not mention that there is much, much to see and do (and eat) in that part of Italy, as it is quite obvious. La Poesia is the perfect headquarters from which to see it all.

A heavenly place on earth!

Villa Poesia is a very good name for this outstanding home in Praiano. However, Villa Paradiso could also be adaquate! The welcome by Signora Julietta was so friendly, warm and helpfull - we shall not forget! The same applies to her - and her son´s Daniele´s - care for us during our stay! The house is a treasure of design and decoration. The location between the village and the green hills is optimal - as is privacy. The views - in particular at sunrise and at night - can be breathtaking! In short - a holiday home near to perfection! We were so happy to be there! Many, many thanks to Signora Julietta and Daniele!

The Best views and most wonderful Hosts!

My husband and I and another couple stayed here while exploring the Amalfi coast. The place was so nice and clean. The views were remarkable. You do have to go up 100 steps, which is a bit daunting but there are breaks in the steps to rest and we go down in the morning and not go back up until the evening. Julietta and her son Daniele where so welcoming and helpful.. We even got a ticket while there and they helped us figure out what to do. The kitchen is so well stocked also making it easy if you don't get to the grocery right away. They also have porters to carry your luggage up and down. There was a great restaurant almost to the end of your walk down to the road, we ate there often and loved the people who worked there. Giuseppe spoke pretty good English so he was very helpful there.. We had a fantastic time.

Heaven on Earth

Well, this stay will be in my memory forever. This Villa is a dream come true. It gave me the ultimate experience of Italy & the Amalfi Coast. Nestled in the most quaint & quiet neighborhood with views that will move you and stay with you forever. The place is pristine. Extremely clean, beautifully decorated, wonderful layout & enormous outdoor patio area. I will be returning for sure. Julietta is an excellent host, making sure all your needs are met. She helped with a driver from the airport & porter to carry your bags up, as well as any information you may need to get around the area. I was so grateful. There are many steps to get to this gem & the priceless view, but I appreciated that. I ate pasta, pizza & gelato everyday and was thrilled when I got home to find I didn't gain any weight. Bonus. I also feel in love with Praiano. It has wonderful beaches and a lovely quaint town. It was the perfect place to stay, then do day trips to Capri, Positano, Sorrento, Ravello, etc. There is a wonderful restaurant, with insane views again, within a 10 min walk from the villa. Along with a market right there as well. I can't imagine a better place and host in the Amalfi Coast. Thank you Julietta for a 'dream come true' vacation. I will see you again for sure. Magical!!

We had waited almost 2 years from the date of our reservation to finally get to Villa Poesia due to covid. Waiting was hard but the best part was that it surpassed all our expectations. The views are dreamy and the terrace is so huge that and the "grotto" (that's what I called it) adjacent to the terrace offering cool and shade at the end of the day. We utilized the cottage below for our niece which gave us privacy when needed. Julietta is a gem and couldn't be more helpful and eager with suggestions. Praiano is a welcome respite on the Amalfi Coast. Quiet but with restaurants and you are able to daytrip to Positano, etc. but so nice to elude the crowds and return "home". Thank you, Julietta for a dream come true!

Beautiful Praiano!

We had a wonderful two weeks on the Amalfi coast. The villa was the perfect place for our home base; very well appointed and it has everything thing you need. Julietta is a wonderful host and was very available to us when we had questions. She gave us restaurant suggestions, told us where grocery stores were , etc. she arranged for drivers for us when we asked; Nicholas drove us twice on excursions and he was excellent! Very nice, great sense of humor and he was a great tour guide. And all the steps leading up to the villa kept us in great shape! I ate all I wanted and didn’t gain weight!

Excellent!

We had a lovely long weekend at the villa. It was amazing! Beautiful views, clean and well-appointed villa, and Juliette is fantastic. We highly recommend this villa for a quiet and peaceful stay on the Amalfi coast. We can't wait to come back!

Fantastic Villa

The villa was fantastic. Incredible views and beautifully appointed. Couldn't ask for more. Julietta was a charm and most helpful. It was like she thought of everything before we even asked. It made us feel like a home away from home.

return trip to Praiano

My family and I returned to this amazing home after several years. It is the ideal place to rewind, relax, and spend hours enjoying what may be one of the best views on the Amalfi Coast. The house and apartment downstairs were spotless, and equipped with everything you would want to have to enjoy meals on the terrace. Julia is incredibly helpful and kind. You must have a certain level of fitness to climb the stairs up to the house, but as others have stated, the location/view/privacy is worth the effort- plus you can burn off all the limoncello and pasta! We absolutely love this place, along with the people of Praiano and cannot wait until our next return trip. Highly recommended. PS- ask Julietta to help arrange transport to/from Naples airport or wherever your arrival is- we had a great experience with her recommendation. Also, don't even think about driving a car around here- spend some money on the water taxi from the Praiano beach, or the local bus system.
