“Angie was super nice and helpful”

“They reserved a king room instead given a two full beds room. And on top of they double booked us and someone repeatedly tried to enter our room at 11:00 at night. Front desk called our room to ask who was in the room. Then they must have changed the key because when we left the room in the morning for breakfast when we came back our key wouldn’t work.”

“was a first floor room. was able to park pretty close. the area felt a little sketchy but was well lit and quiet. the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfy. we slept very well :) thanks for a great stay!”

“Everything was good with this hotel except the noise from the highway. Our room was in the back of the hotel and within 50 feet of the interstate and trucks made so much noise braking to go around the curve. Difficult to sleep. ”

“The best part was Elliot’s Grill and Bar on premises. Quiet property until you open the door to the grill - wow! Full of people, laughing and socializing, $7 large mixed drinks, such a friendly and lively place! Room was clean and sufficient, not luxurious but fine. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. This is the place to stay if you are visiting the New River Gorge area of WV. ”

“It’s fine for what it was, a room to catch some sleep before continuing our trip at a great price. The ro was clean and the staff both evening and morning were friendly. Outward facing rooms are loud and this was increased due to the road construction going on nearby. No coffee maker in the room was a disappointment but breakfast included downstairs in an under $75 price was a positive. There was also some sketchy looking stuff going on outside at night so there’s that, but when staying at...

“I love the Embassy Suites because the rooms are very accommodating with the bedroom livingroom style rooms. The made to order breakfasts are perfect way to start the morning. My main complaint about this Emabssy in particular is the parking garage is quite the walk down the street, which makes loading and unloading difficult. With no catwalk to get there in case of inclement weather. I probably will not stay there again because of this reason.”

“I think it was circumstantial, but there was a group in the hotel that made my stay very unpleasant. Shared spaces were dominated by this group and they were generally rude. I was enroute to another city and have always enjoyed stopping in Charleston and staying at this hotel. However, this time was simply awful. I wasn't able to take advantage of the amenities, especially breakfast, so I just left as soon as I got up the next morning. Room was fine, clean, but my experience other than that...

“Stains on the bedding, pretty view of the river. Difficulty going back to the interstate, you can only travel one way.”

“Room was dated but clean. Smoke detectors were set off by aerosol deodorant and a hair dryer. Staff were nice about it. But also acted like it’s common. We did not eat breakfast because it was expensive. Overall it was a good stay for what we needed. ”

“Staff is excellent! The room looked a little rough around the edges. Nail polish dumped down the bedside table and onto the carpet. Spots on the carpet as well. Not sure when the top blanket on the bed had been laundered last. I folded it down and went on. The property is beautiful and is close to the highway. Easy access to everything. The lobby is nice and inviting. The breakfast was good. ”

“All staff were very nice and accommodating. However the facilities are tired and need refreshing. It is conveniently located with easy walking distance to most places.”
