“We were looking for a National Park to explore within driving distance and decided on New River Gorge. The property was ideally situated for us to be able to explore the park and also Babcock State Park. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing “home base”. We will probably be back since we had a rainy day and weren’t able to get as much hiking in as we had planned. But, we were able to drive around and see more of the area due to the rain than we would’ve hiking.”

I was worried about the noise outside with it being located next to two highways because I have a had time sleeping with the outside noise but I could not hear a single car and slept like a baby. There is WiFi and a washer and dryer next door that you can use. “This place was great. The interior has everything that you would want. The design was thoughtful and the rooms were comfortable. I didn't cook during my time, but the kitchen was fully equipped and the fridge sparkling clean. All the electronics worked, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the air conditioning worked great. Also, communication was EXCELLENT. Not sure if I will pass through here again, but if I do, it is an excellent place for the price.My only caveat would be that the outside of the...

“This was a perfect spot 30 min from the NRG. The hosts were very active in responding. The spot was easy to find and close to some WV must stops like Tudors! We had our pup with us and she had the best time!”
