“Good location, price, room, b’fast! Pool status has been “renovating” for over 10 years! Just close it already and take off website”

“This is our 2nd time staying at this motel. The rates are good, rooms are clean, quiet place to get sleep. I would highly recommend this hotel. Kim”

“The lady on the front desk, whose name was “Sam” was very helpful! She went the extra mile to get local information for us. The breakfast was well done. They had a security guard (Mike) for the parking lot.”

“The place was well kept with kitchen. Only issue was outside of the hotel. Didn’t feel safe.”

“Room was well cleaned and the breakfast was well stocked. The night front desk staff was not so helpful and wasn't paying much attention when doing the check-in process.”

“We stayed because we needed enough room for 5, that was good. The building is old and alittle run down. First the door wouldn't open, we finally got it to open. We closed the door and needed something else from the car and the door wouldn't open. After several tries we finally got it open. The attendant had to come and take part of the threshold off the bottom of the door,so we could get in and out. I wouldn't stay there again.”

“Drug addicts hanging outside the hotel! Watching you walk to your room. Felt very unsafe didnt last an hour grabbed my stuff and left. Do not stay!”

“The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Angelique -she was amazing! Unfortunately, their got water heater wasn't working so we had COLD showers our entire stay. The carpets in the room and hallway were gross and desperately need shampooed or replaced with flooring other than carpet that does not hold smells!”

“Location is nice I just wish they would beautify the area . The view is of the old mall and the balcony doesn’t open . My room was 63 degrees all night and I was freezing . You can not turn the heat on and fix the issue either cause it’s a boiler system . This is the second time it happened but I stay there because compared to many other Charleston hotels this is the better . Pick your favorite old hotel . Most are old and in need of renovation .
