Mountain ritiro vicino a Hunter / Windham Mountain

Questa nuova casa è stata costruita su misura e si trova in cima a una collina su 5 acri di terra, a soli 20 minuti da Ski Windham ea 20 minuti da Hunter Mountain o circa 25 minuti dalle piste da sci di Bellayre.

La nostra casa è invitante con una stufa a legna e un grande camino in pietra per riscaldarsi dopo una giornata fredda sulle piste. Tutte le aree ricreative e abitative sono spaziose con tutti i nuovi mobili che creano un'atmosfera di campagna, fornendo alcuni dei "trucchi" della convenienza moderna. Avrai un sonno ristoratore nelle nostre camere da letto con letti queen size, divano letto estraibile e futon negli spazi abitabili per fornire ulteriori posti letto.

Il design della cucina è un layout open space con tanto spazio per troppi cuochi! La lavatrice e l'asciugatrice si trovano in un armadio separato nascosto alla vista per non ricordarti le faccende quotidiane.

Il Balcone è appena fuori dal soggiorno e offre l'accesso alla "vista da un milione di dollari" delle montagne circostanti (prenditi la parola, le foto NON FACCIANO giustizia). L'area ricreativa al piano di sotto è ben attrezzata con un bar full-size, biliardino e ampio salotto di fronte a un enorme camino in pietra. Abbiamo tutto il necessario per divertirti e goderti le Catskills.

Hunter e Windham sono pittoreschi paesini con una varietà di negozi e gallerie oltre ad accoglienti ristoranti dove si può assaporare un pasto caldo e confortante. Fai una breve sosta sulla Route 23 per raccogliere frutta e verdura naturale in uno dei numerosi stand agricoli freschi. Per smaltire i pasti, Windham ha uno splendido campo da golf nascosto tra le montagne. Il golf in miniatura e una pista di go-go si trovano nelle vicinanze per coloro che non tengono il punteggio! Grand Gorge è a soli 5 minuti di distanza per ulteriori emozioni.

La nostra casa si trova a Prattsville, che si trova a circa 12 - 13 miglia da Hunter e uguale distanza da Windham. Posizione perfetta se si desidera colpire entrambe le montagne durante il viaggio. Tre delle camere da letto si trovano al piano principale. C'è una master suite al piano di sopra con il proprio bagno e la quinta camera da letto è nel seminterrato fuori dell'area del bar, non ha una finestra. Ci sono tre bagni completi, due con box doccia e uno con vasca. C'è un bagno situato a ogni livello della casa.

View and house are excellent, amenities not as expected

View and overall house/appliances etc were great. Upkeep of house was not great - dusty and dirty surfaces, no linens for pullouts or extra blankets anywhere, no games as listing specified. Wood burning stove was packed with ash to the point of not being usable. Driveway (steep) was not plowed after snow and there was no ice melt/salt for walkways. Not enough toilet paper was stocked for our stay.With a bit more focus on the amenities and upkeep/renter experience this would be an excellent stay. As is it was ok.

Boys Book Club Retreat

Eight of us stayed over a three day weekend. Great place! Lovely area and we had nice weather! Most of us stayed at the house the whole time except for a trip out for lunch one day. Lots of eating, discussion, ad game playing. But some went out for a bit of hiking and bicycling.

Relaxed weekend at Catskills

Our group of three families had a good weekend stay at the house. The place was clean and well set for a comfortable stay. Owner shared information very well and we did not have to worry about anything at all. Great place. Thanks.

Not clean

Well the fire place and stove was never cleaned out there was dirty towel and clothes in downstairs bathroom and bugs so I can assume it was not cleaned so we never used .there was now pot holder’s and hand towels fir the bathroom.I had to clean all the pans before we used food and fat in them. There was still coffee and grinds in the coffee pot . Garbage pail was broken. I cleaned upstairs bathroom sink I think it was toothpaste toilet seat in that bathroom was falling off . So dark there were bulbs out in the highhat s that we had to put a lamp on the table to play a game . Said sleeps 14 but only 4or 5 can sit in living room 1couch and 1chair .down stairs no tv I went and out and bought one for the kids . Futon in 5th bedroom should not be considered a bed , like sleeping on a board . Also no vegetables peeler and only 1big pot . Location was beautiful but for the money I expected more. Oh forgot the mouse droppings in the cabinets . I would fire the cleaning crew!

The scenery was spectacular. The wood burning stove was cozy on cool fall nights. The accommodations were fine, although the fifth bedroom downstairs was deficient in that it didn't have a full bed, only a futon. The property accommodated our group of ten well, from which we enjoyed many regional sites (West Point, Baseball Hall of Fame, fall colors, etc.).

Beautiful home!

As usual, everything was perfect at the home. We go back each year for a long weekend. Plenty of room. Love the fireplaces and the outdoor fire pit. The new outdoor table is a great addition, as is the new side porch.

FunTimes for a Party of 80!

We celebrated a milestone 80th birthday with the extended family. There was more than enough space to accommodate us. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans and platters to support entertaining. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. I recommend this house for get-together. Bonifacio

Come for the view, stay for the fun

This is a great house to enjoy; the hosts are extremely thoughtful appointing their house with all of the items needed to enjoy a visit. The kids instantly gravitated to the best foosball table I have ever played on. There are two very large social areas to congregate in with large gatherings. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessities. Ample firewood, a spacious propane grill on a covered porch. A small fire ring on the outside; a wood stove and another fireplace on the inside. Loved the outdoors and wooden decor. My large family really enjoyed our stay; Anna is very responsive and accommodating as a host. We really felt welcome and was eagerly looking forward to our stay; every hope and dream was realized. We are very appreciative and you will be too.

Great house that needs nothing to make it comfortable.

Beautiful home, spectacular view, and a wonderful place to build lasting memories with our family!

We had never been to the Catskills as a family, but the 8 of us were extremely happy to have found this location for our weekend getaway. The house is beautiful and well maintained, secluded on a wooded hilltop with a stunning mountain view. The house is most certainly and aptly decorated with a ski lodge motif, but the owner has done so with some noticeable charm and elegance. The living room and kitchen area is spacious and comfortable. Not at all to imply that they are too small, the bedrooms are cozy, quiet and designed for a good nights sleep. It’s worth mentioning that our group included my 3 yr old twin grandkids; not only am I grateful that the owner welcomed kids, but the lower level room provided ample play space as well as some “kid vehicles”. This was a big hit. Although this house seems suited for any season, it’s sure to be a tremendous find for skiers and the like. With the exception of the WiFi being out of commission ( a very minor inconvenience for us, but perhaps not to other guests) everything was fully functional and met or exceeded our expectations. The owner was very responsive to my questions and the entire payment transaction, including a very prompt deposit return, was simple and flawless. The location was ideal for us. Our trip was centered on zip lining on Hunter Mt and this location gave us an easy 20 min drive to get there. As it happened, rain forced us to change our initial plans, but we were only an hour from Howe Caverns. So we were able to salvage the day with a fun excursion and still go zip-lining the following morning. All in all we loved our stay and wished it could have been longer. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this house again and we would highly recommend it to others. Kindly, Mark

Great house with an amazing view

The house is very private and has views that are amazing. The pictures don't do justice to what you will see at any point in the day. The house was extremely clean and was well stocked. We lived the fact that all 12 guests could eat at the kitchen table together. The owner is very responsive to questions and clearly shows a love for her property. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend!
