“The breakfast was great - especially the service from the older gentleman who kept an eye on all proceedings, making sure it all ran smoothly. Check in took quite some time as did the time I asked for an extra pillow - Saturday night around 7 pm. The facilities were very well kept, lovely friendly cleaner on Saturday afternoon on way to pool. Great place which we will recommend to everyone. Just wondering whether I should have got a discount for breakfast as joined as a member.”

“We absolutely enjoyed our stay here for the last 4 nights. The owners are lovely and accomodating. Lots of privacy and the spa was enjoyable! The room was spotless on arrival and the cleaners were respectful when approaching our room for a service. Everything was super clean, the only thing we noticed was the spa area had a smell to it. “Definitely not your standard “motel” stay! Beautiful, thoughtfully appointed rooms, spotlessly clean and lovely hosts. Great location in the centre of Taupo and walking distance to an endless number of restaurants. We had a two-bedroom suite with a spa bath, and it was more than comfortable for our family of four. The room would have been suitable for a far longer stay than we had time for. Highly recommended.”

“Brilliant little place to stay. Clean, comfortable, when we checked in they'd already put the heat pump on for us (it was quite cold) which was a nice touch. They offered milk for coffee as well. Its the little things that make a difference here. Location - right on the lake, and a 10min walk to the centre of everything. It was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. My only minor criticism - old school Sky TV... I took a chromecast with me to cast what we wanted to watch but it wouldn't work....
