Enjoy lake views, relax in the sunroom, play pool, or use the spacious kitchen or gas grill to whip up a feast for your family.

There are 3 outdoor decks with seating to enjoy lake-views.

Explore the lake with 2 kayaks, 2 stand-up paddleboards, a canoe, or our 12-ft. rowboat.

The lake is also great for swimming and has a small beach area with shallow water for swimming or splashing for the little ones.

Bring your boat (we have a private boat dock), or rent one. If you need to rent a boat, we have a pontoon for rent. Rental is $5 per day plus a $1,000 security deposit. (Separate rental contract required.) Please note that this is our personal boat. It’s a newer boat that we have serviced annually, and we’re happy to include it with rentals throughout the summer. While we have never had an issue to date, we want to make it clear that the cost of the boat reflects our desire to keep your visit affordable. However, we are not in a position to guarantee a pontoon in the unlikely but possible event of an unforeseen issue.

In the rare event the boat is unavailable, we can provide a functional “handyman” pontoon boat for transport to and from the island. While it’s perfectly suitable for transportation, it is not intended for lake cruising.

If having a guaranteed cruising boat or access to back-up boats is essential, we recommend contacting a professional local boat rental company for those specific needs.

Katinka Lake is a 170 acre lake in Vilas County. It has a maximum depth of 60 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and Walleye. It's a silent sport lake, pontoons and low-wake boats are welcome!


2 bedrooms have king-sized beds, 1 bedroom has a queen, & the family room has 4 queen bunk-beds. 3 full bathrooms & 1 half-bath.
