Uncle Chad's Cabin

About this space
Stay year round in this sweet retreat located in the Northwoods. Enjoy the nature while sitting in the Sauna. Located near many lakes including the Turtle Chain and minutes from the Manitowish Lakes Chain. Fishing, hunting, boating, swimming, kayaking, downhill and x-country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, biking, etc. Located on snowmobile trail leading to Vilas County trail system as well as Upper Michigan trail system. Win-Man trails located minutes away.
The space
If you love the peace and quiet of nature; this is the place for you. Uncle Chad's Cabin is close to area interests (hiking, lakes, ski hills) but provides privacy and relaxation away from the busy world.

Our pet friendly cabin is available with an additional cleaning fee. Pets are not to be left in the cabin unattended.

The cabin and sauna are accessible to guests.
The car port is open for guest parking.
Additional trailer parking is located on property.
The garage is unavailable.

This cabin is great! Very well thought out for guests, charming, comfortable, clean and fun. We didn’t stay long enough to use the sauna, but probably will next time. We loved that WinMan bike/ski/hike area was just 8 minutes drive. Thanks Chad and Amber!

"Our stay at this cabin was a nice retreat. The cabin was private, cozy, clean and had everything we needed. The sauna was a definite highlight and the location provided close access to Winman trails as well as a short drive to Ironwood. Chad was very helpful assisting with dealing with the issues the large winter storm left us as well suggestions for local things to do and where to eat locally.

The cabin was very comfortable. We had no issues why we were there. The only drawback was the 12 gallon hot water tank which we were able to work around once we realized. Overall reading excellent.

Hometown revisit

This cozy cabin was well manicured, very clean and organized well. Communication with Chad occurred easily. After a super hot weekend, we were glad AC was working great. Highly recommend for a small group

Short stay in Presque Isle

The cute house had all we needed to be comfortable for a short stay in the North Woods. Beautiful area and lot and a well-appointed home! Owner was responsive and communicative.
