“I stayed for Dave Day, June 26. The hotel could not have been more busy! But the staff had permanent smiles with a very helpful attitude. Inspite of probably being asked the same questions 100 times. Wish there was an extra star for them. A credit to the management.”

“Very good communication. In general the apartment building is clean and nice, though inside the apartment smelled strong curry ( Penthouse ), even a cheap air freshener will make a difference. Pillow cases and Bed blankets do not smell fresh. No shampoo and shower gel. Netflix is a plus. We still enjoyed our stay.”

“We were allocated a large room on the 3rd floor. There is no lift. We requested a lower floor the room was mor like a bedsit .clean and quiet. .The front of the building is covered in scaffding. If we were in the rooms with hottubs etc different experience.Staff minimal buit helpful.restuarant has always been good.”

“The outside isn't pretty, but don't let that influence you. The room is excellent. It was nice to have cold water in the fridge and a piece of chocolate in the room upon arrival- nice treat, no charge. We found the bed a little hard and the room warm. The staff brought us a fan so sleeping was much better.”

“The host cancelled my booking the day before I was due to book in because I use a walking stick and the room was on the middle floor. When I made the booking there was no mention on the booking page about about difficulties I may have. The reason given was not enough room on the expedia page. I was also refused a refund, which I find very disappointing as it was the host who cancelled my booking, not myself. Very disappointed allround.”

“I was given a double room instead of a suite, they couldn’t give me the correct room due to it being full and couldn’t refund me due to not having access to the correct system. The coffee machine didn’t work and they only gave a small amount of milk which only lasted one day.”

“Very handy hotel as a base for the attractions of the western coast of the Lake District. Set in lovely gardens and very quiet but just off the main road between Newbury Bridge and Barrow”

“Very nice flat plenty of space and nice and clean.A few items could be improved, no soap in the property, instructions for the washing machine would be helpful .Guests staying a week or more it would be nice to have a welcome pack or at least some tea and milk etc . Biggest problem no Wi Fi , property uses a neighbours internet to run the smart Tv which only had one bar or didn’t work at all for the 1st 3 days but tv guys sorted it to freeview.As the phone signal is not good in the area I really...

“The location and apartment were great! Unfortunately the beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in - so lumpy and uneven we couldn't sleep for the 2 nights we were there. The sofa bed mattress was so thin you could feel the metal frame all night. The mattresses all need replacing!”
