“This is a charming hotel. The rooms are traditional, with some modern upgrades (the TV has a US Roku - a good choice for US visitors, although unfortunately it doesn't really work for UK visitors). The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking outside the rooms. There is no buffet breakfast, and unfortunately the breakfast options are quiet expensive (approx US$70 for two people, which is a bit excessive for a simple breakfast). “The Golden Rock is a beautiful, low intensity hotel complex, with exceptional gardens. It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis. The staff were exceptionally helpful and caring. They also helped to make arrival easy by organizing a seamless transfer from the airport to the water taxi and then to the hotel. Highly recommend”

“This hotel is very centrally located in Basterre, a very walkable distance from the ferry terminal, shops, and downtown. There is a grocery store located downstairs (the property is a walk up stairs). I had a great stay and would recommend this property to friends.”

“Great location, next to MUA & the beach (secluded). Very clean room, not a single insect!! That's rare. Had a very good sleep assisted by gentle sea waves. I would like for them to invest in mini fridge. Other than that, highly recommended. ”

“Room was clean and comfortable. AC and shower very good. 5 min walk to the Ferry and center of town. Only issue was the staff wasn’t there ever. Another guest had to call to get someone to show up half hour later to check me in. Other than that 5 stars. ”
