Così idilliaco che sfida la descrizione: il migliore dei due mondi nella prestigiosa Meadow View Heights nel West End. Nove acri di privacy e lusso in una natura incontaminata si affacciano su Shank Painter Pond e Herring Cove, al confine con la National Seashore. Il figlio di un affittuario ha detto "La casa è in mezzo al nulla e al limite di tutto". Tre minuti in bicicletta o dieci o 15 minuti a piedi dai migliori ristoranti di Provincetown con un percorso per Herring Cove Beach. Spettacolare vista sul tramonto sul laghetto e sull'oceano. Splendide vedute d'acqua da ogni finestra e finestre con due camere da letto con vista sul Monumento del Pellegrino. Caffè del mattino sul portico laterale a guardare gli uccelli e la fauna selvatica, cocktail sul ponte anteriore che si godono il tramonto, lussureggianti sui mobili imbottiti nella grande sala con alti soffitti della cattedrale. Rilassati in questo ambiente tranquillo. La nostra casa è arredata con gusto, cucina gourmet, piano piano aperto, banconi in granito, ampie camere da letto, aria condizionata centralizzata, Internet wireless, parcheggio a bizzeffe e dog friendly (deve essere approvato dal proprietario)! As always, a wonderful stay at this tucked away home in Provincetown. A beautiful setting for a great fall weekend getaway with close friends. While there is a to ton to do around the town, most nights were spent in the living area with the fireplace - really nothing better.

This large log cabin, tucked away at the very tip of Provincetown's West End, overlooking Shank Painter Pond wildlife preserve, was a perfect gathering spot to enjoy a family gathering. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking together. The bedrooms were comfy and spacious with beautiful views. And the fireplace, the heart of the house, was the perfect accompaniment to a chilly October weekend.

Wonderfully relaxing, roomy house with inviting places to hang out, read, talk, or just enjoy the peace and quiet. We cooked most nights and enjoyed sitting around the large dining table well into the evening. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well-appointed with charming bedding and plush towels. The location can’t be beat: walk to the beach, or to town, while savoring the woodland surroundings. We loved our stay and I wish I were there still!

Gorgeous spot good for a group

This is a beautiful house in a quiet, somewhat remote part of Provincetown. It's a hefty hike into town (20 min walk or 10ish min bike) so plan accordingly. That said, the land and views are spectacular and peaceful. We stayed in the winter and the house was snug and warm against the chill. It was a special bonus to be able to use the fireplace with the provided wood.The three upstairs (main floor upper floor) bedrooms and bathrooms are all nice. The bedroom in the basement is nice for privacy but the heating system was quite loud down there - so loud one of our party had to move to the main floor to be able to sleep. Also there is no bathroom in the basement - you will use the main floor bathroom and share a shower with one of the other rooms. Kitchen had all amenities we needed, and we cooked quite a few meals in.

Privacy and Nature

Beautiful home offering both complete privacy and convenience. Very warm and cozy home with more than enough space for our party of 8. Enjoyed relaxing on the huge deck, chatting in the sunroom, cooking a gourmet meal and watching a movie, while enjoying a beautiful fire! Everyone enjoyed a wonderful getaway!

Beautiful Week in August

Beautiful home unlike any other architecturally in Ptown. The secluded beautiful surroundings are a major plus. Just know most of the time you will want to drive or bike into town from the house.

Dream House

This is one of the most beautiful spots we have ever stayed. We held our intimate wedding reception here, and we could not have picked a better place. The pictures do not so this house justice. The rooms are spacious and the fire place is magnificent. The outdoor space is tranquil and the pond is so lovely and full of wildlife. We loved falling asleep to the frogs and crickets! The walk through the dunes to the beach is absolute magic, an easy ten minutes if you like exercise, longer but completely doable for those who prefer to stroll. Janet and Steve are both lovely, and were so helpful and answered all of our ten million questions! ( Thank you both, I am sure we were annoying.) This house will live in our memories forever as a very special place, and we hope to be able to return in the future.

Idyllic stay

This property surpassed our expectations: the feeling of isolation even though you were a mere mile from downtown; the well-appointed kitchen and lovely decor; the views out most windows of nature and ponds, and more. We spent the days exploring different beaches and hikes with our 18 - and 20-year old kids, and the evenings playing pool in the fantastic basement. Kids also appreciated that there were lots of running routes right out the door. Will definitely return!

Winter Getaway

Our family had a great time in this spacious home. The great room provided a wonderful spot for a marathon of board games, and the kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation for our large party. The location is spectacular, and lent itself to hikes through the dunes and daily jogs to town. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of shops and restaurants that were open in the off season and the welcome of our dog in many establishments.

Dream a little dream...

1 Bayberry is such a precious place that one almost wants to fake a poor review just to keep the secret. But the reality is the opposite, 1 Bayberry is a "unicorn". It almost defies definition. The walk to the beach through the dunes is otherworldly, as if your vacation was to Tatooine instead of Cape Cod and Herring Beach feels like your private getaway. Who are these people who drove there? The approach to the home takes your breath away and the alternate sunrise/sunset views of the private bogs with ducks, herons and other wildlife leaves the life you left behind as far off from your mind as you dreamed. All this and yet an easy peddle by bike to the restaurants, pier and shops lets you leave your keys in your bag. The rooms afford distinct privacy and vantage points with a warm majestic center room where your friends and family comfortably join by the fireplace in the stone hearth. Night arrives, to the game room! Morning arrives, to the covered porch to sip hot coffee and tea on rocking chairs while the mist dissipates. The hosts were amazing and super responsive when we accidentally set off the alarm (oops, sorry Steve and Janet, did not mean it!) The ONLY downside is that there will be an end to your time at 1 Bayberry. Could not give higher praise. Our stay was recent yet feels like a dream we had, one afternoon, long ago...

PTown Oasis of Beauty, Comfort, Nature and Calm

This property is a dream come true for anyone who loves the natural beauty of Provincetown and wants to pretend for a time to live there, surrounded by that beauty, with all the comforts of a graciously and tastefully appointed home. Part chalet, part log cabin, the atmosphere is warm and woody, beds comfy, lighting that adapts to any mood, stained glass accents that delight, a vaulted ceiling that is just plain awesome with a stone fireplace equally so. Big enough for extended families and/or friends, but a spacious retreat for me as a solo traveler. You can see the amazing sunset from the deck that squarely faces West. Privacy ... Peace ... Pleasure ... Poetry. A place you want to return to ...
