“This property is outstanding. We wanted to stay closer to switzerland (where we were headed after Lake Como) and wanted to be out of the thick of the crowds. This ended up being perfect. The house is composed of an upstairs apartment and a main floor apartment. We rented both. In-laws were upstairs and our family with baby was downstairs. There is a large pool, game room, and movie room - perfect for all ages. The villa has a lot of history associated with it and we could not have picked a better place to create our memories of Italy. ”

“If you are looking at visiting the Lake Como area with your kids, or other families, I strongly recommend Mandello and Villa Ornella. The layout of the house is great, the size perfect to accommodate 2 or even 3 families and Furio was a great host. It was just me and my wife and our 3 young (and restless) boys and we had a great time. The pool and the living room with the amazing veranda were perfect family entertainment areas. The location is great as well - Mandello is close to everything yet...

“The villa is beautiful and the views fromthe property are outstanding. The villa was very clean. We just had a few small scorpions but that is to be expected in that area. Be aware there is no A/C in the two guest bedrooms but if you leave the doors open they will stay cool. The town of Colico about 5 mins away is really cute with wonderful restaurants by the water. The property has a washing machine which was great but no iron so we had to take some clothes to the dry cleaners. Good...
