This cabin was great! Just perfect for our needs. Very clean and had everything we could possibly need and more! It was the perfect location for us to access both Houghton and Higgins lakes! Everyone was pleasant and accommodating and I’d recommend for anyone looking to just enjoy the outdoors and a peaceful community. We loved the sun porch and fire pit areas. Thank you for a great stay! Can’t wait to come back again :)

We had a very nice experience. From the little welcome basket with goodies, and a thank you card, to the cleanliness of the place. It was very warm and inviting. Had an issue with an app on their Ruku, and I was able to communicate with the owners. Ultimately, not able to resolve the issue, but that was minor. They have a nice sitting area outside in a porch like environment, with games and furniture to sit on. We didn't utilize this space, as it was still pretty chilly when we stayed there. Just a couple of personal annoyances, but that's on me, not on the property or the owners. Really liked the place being on the South side of M55, so we wouldn't have to cross that to get to the SxS trails. I plan on staying here again next year. Was the best Vrbo stay we've had.

Darling, simple cottage. Comfortable beds. Very functional kitchen. Lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely 3-season room on the front. Conveniently located for access to Houghton Lake and Higgins Lake. Would recommend with 2 caveats -1. Bring slippers. The floor is slab with carpet squares. Cute, but hard and super cold in the winter. 2. The fireplace is not woodburning. It's an electric space heater intended for a bit of ambiance and maybe a little heat. Don't expect the wonderful heat of a wood burning fireplace.
