“Comminucation and check in was a breeze. Communication with the owner and on-site property personel was excellent. Kitchen was well supplied. Handled all of our needs. We had a great time!!”

“Beautiful home! The house is cozy and it is nice and cool in all rooms, even common areas which is not typical for homes by the beach. Ivonne was a great host and very responsive. She even met us at the house to show us around. The home was very clean and even had cleaning service daily. We were able to pre-order groceries which was nice to not have to do when we arrived. The only downfall, but not the biggest deal for us was the sargasso. But it’s everywhere in playa so not much anyone can do...

“Property is as advertised, wonderful place to stay and has all the basic amenities you need for a week. Pool was a huge plus as the seaweed made the beach unacceptable. Only minor complaint would be the Wifi/internet, it goes in and out and I wasn't able to do some work, that I needed to do. Would definitely stay here again on a non-working holiday.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Villa Shalimar! The space is exactly as the description and pictures show. Three nicely equipped villa's around a giant, multi level pool with a swim up bar. Plenty of shallow space safe for younger children (the youngest member of our party was 3) and deeper areas for the stronger swimmers. "Proprietà molto integrata nel territorio, nel resort tutte piccole casette, molto pulite, comprese anche le parti comuni. Personale molto gentile. Bello avere a disposizione sempre qualcosa di aperto per mangiare a qualsiasi ora uno arrivi. Buono il cibo nei ristoranti a tema, a parte il ristorante italiano, ma essendo italiani siamo esigenti 😅. Molto seria anche la sicurezza. Belle le due piscine vicino alla spiaggia ben attrezzata. L'unico problema, dicono stagionale, ma la stagione si allunga sempre di più, sono le alghe chiamate Sargasso, purtroppo in questo periodo molto infestanti. Impossibile entrare in mare. E oltretutto maleodoranti soprattutto se esposte al sole, e malgrado i notevoli sforzi per liberarsi da questa infestazione, più ne tiravano via più il giorno dopo ne tornavano, ogni giorno camion e camion di alghe portate via, e lungo tutta la costa. Ci è mancata l'idea che avevamo del mare caraibico, ma per fortuna il resort ha compensato pienamente la cosa."

"The resort is outstanding, well maintened and well located. I've loved the room, but the bathroom smelled so bad. I've noticed the reception, but they would not change the room. That's the only thing i have to complain. The food wasn't good in the italian (not italian) restaurant and in the asiatic. I've loved the cafes and the buffet, i strongly suggest both. The price-quality is perfect"
