Great property, responsive owner
We just returned from 4 nights at this wonderful property. The kitchen was well stocked and bedrooms/bathrooms were all nicely setup. I was a little worried about the 11th floor being too high up for a good beach view, but the view was incredible. The view is slightly eastward, so better for watching the sunrise than the sunset. But there are lots of places on the property to sit and watch the sunset. Check in was super easy, and the owner was very responsive to my questions. I'd definitely consider renting this property again.

Almost Perfect
everything was great except a very noisy refrigerator and the heat did not work in master bedroom. Did see a new fridge in the lobby with corresponding room number so hopefully that will be resolved.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. You are correct as that refrigerator in the lobby was for that unit and has been replaced. The heater/AC has also been fixed. We look forward to you staying with us again.

What a nightmare, renter beware
I have stayed in various units in this development over the past few years. I visit Rocky Point 2 to 4 weeks a year. I love Rocky Point. Things you should know, there is no longer a reciprocal agreement with the Mayan. And for the entire week I was here, none of the pools were heated, which made it too cold to swim (early October visit). As other guests have mentioned in their reviews, this unit needs maintenance and updating. There’s various broken things around the unit and the bedding/towels/couches are old and in need of immediate replacement. What I didn’t anticipate is that the owner would make up charges and bill our credit card for $100 following our stay. If you decide to stay here, which I caution you against, make a careful photo inventory of everything. You might need these to dispute charges with your credit card company. Especially focus on the damaged and/or worn out stuff that you will encounter. In my case, it was the towels and bedding. Do this immediately upon check in, as you would an old rental car. This is my first negative review on this platform. Zero stars.

Beautiful Condo
The condo is modern, nice furniture, with a great view of the ocean & pool. The gym was clean and facing the ocean so beautiful. So was the entire premises super clean. All the employees were friendly and accommodating. There was a little problem with the listing (Mayan access).. however I left my passports and they said they would send them to me. I haven't received a tracking #. I tried to contact the owner and my email has been rejected. I need to know how and when they were sent and a tracking # would be fabulous. mindybuesa@yahoo.com

Cuando llegamos no habia nadie para recibirnos. Tuve que entrar a la instalacion para buscar a alguien. Y de suerte encontre a la persona de seguridad quien me ayudo a accesar el cuarto. Me comento la persona de seguridad que cuando hize la reservacion me tuvo que llegar la informacion de como accesar a los condominios, pero jamas me llego. Lo otro que no me gusto es que las albercas solo una medio templaron y de los 4 jacuzzi solo uno funcionaba al 100% y el otro no hacia burbujas. Las demas cosas estaban bien. El asador limpio y funcional. Si lo recomiendo por que no hay mucha concurrencia y te sirve para privacidad.

We love staying at Luna Blanca and Encanto. This particular condo could do with a little update and TLC. No lightbulbs at all over dining table, shower soap holder in 2nd bedroom broke off. Dining chairs are disintegrating falling apart.

LOVE IT
I almost don't want to give rave reviews, because it feels like our little paradise. We love the quiet location. We love being able to cook all our meals in our fully stocked kitchen. We brought our own beach towels (which is listed on the booking). We had plenty of clean shower towels and were able to wash anything we needed. Tina is a gem to work with. This VRBO comes highly recommended, even though I'm worried we won't be able to have the slots we want, once you come and stay, it will become your favorite vacation also.

Spectacular views and stunning amenities
My husband and I spent five days at Luna Blanca and had a lovely time. Though LB is a bit of a drive from the central city, the total package was more than worth the miles. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the grounds were immaculate.

Spacious but dirty and stinky
We loved our stay at rocky point! Our condo was spacious for our family of six and did the job. However, the condo was not cleaned very well...hair in bathroom, underwear left on the balcony. The unit is very rundown and needs new furniture. Also, there is a horrible sewage smell that comes and goes. But overall we loved the pools, the beach, and the free access to the Myan Palace so much that we will probably stay at Luna Blanca again.

What a gem!
We've been coming to these two condos (Playa Luna and Blanca) for several years now. This unit was one of the nicer ones we've stayed in. Everything was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well appointed. As usual the view is phenomenal, as you can see both sunrise and sunset from your balcony. At this time of year, only one pool is heated, although both jacuzzis were heated. During Thanksgiving week, our two families had most of the place to ourselves. Only complaints are spotty wifi, and a sewer drain smell that came and went. Staff is always very nice.

Property seems well-maintained. Major complaint is that all the mattresses on all 3 beds and the cushions on the balcony furniture needed to be replaced years ago! Frankly, until they are, we will have to go elsewhere as our backs cannot take these very poor mattresses anymore!

Very different than the unit across at encanto living. Tv did not work at all. No mention that only DVD players were there. They did not work anyway. Was difficult to get a toddler to calm down when they cant watch any cartoons. Room smelled like bad seafood and the master bath had an overwhelming mildew smell

Best place I have ever stayed since 2011 when we discovered Puerto Peñasco
The apartment is so beautiful it has everything that is needed during a vacation, the pool and the beach is amazing. We have always stayed at the Mayan Palace and since is 10 minutes away the beach is the same and is wonderful. We also went to use all the amenities at the Mayan palace at no cost!! It was so wonderful we feel blessed that we found the perfect place to stay for our next vacation. No more looking at other places and not expecting to see if the Mayan palace is available. The only thing I would say I missed was the housekeeping everyday like at the regular hotels. But the rest it was so amazing. I congratulate the owner for keeping the apartment in such a wonderful condition and luxury. Thank you!

Very nice!
This condo was comfortable and clean! The views were amazing and everything worked. The only problem was there was a smell from the A/C duct coming into the bedroom. The maintenance was quick to respond and fix it. We really enjoyed our time there!

Great, family-friendly place to stay!
The place was clean and really roomy! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. One of the pools was heated (which is apparently a luxury, as even the Mayan Palace’s only heated pool is indoors) and the jacuzzi was big! The staff was great and friendly and helpful. We felt very safe. This is about 30 minutes past the town.

Incredible Views~Great Layout~More Quiet Location in Rocky Point
I'm missing the ocean views every day since! If you're looking for views, to play on the beach, and want to be removed from town, this is an ideal property. The picturesque endless ocean views is what we were seeking. It exceeded our expectations and views can't be missed from just about everywhere in the entire unit. Loved being able to open glass doors to let outside in from master suite and living room all day long. Foosball table was a huge hit for family. More seashells on a beach than ever seen and huge! Less private on deck than we hoped where loud neighbors were up until 4 am on 2 nights from adjacent development that corners into this unit's side. Not as sound-proofing in general where you could hear much, including the flushing of the toilets upstairs. This and the constant smell of the sewage gasses up from the drains were worst issues. Fitness center a bit disappointing due to lack equipment and temperature over 90+ degrees inside. The Mayan offered a bit more rec activities (indoor pool, also) and closest restaurants, so was nice to have access since its about 30 min drive to town for other dining options. No jet skiing allowed in this area which was a drawback for the kids (18 & 15), but since no motorized vehicles allowed on the beach it made it a fairly quiet area to enjoy. We wished there was access to renting kayaks, etc, but nothing was available. Only 1 pool (round pool near beach) was heated for both developments which was smaller and mostly occupied with splashing kids, so we regretted that another option to enjoy a pool was not available in winter. We had issues with WiFi, non-working coffee maker, and no hot water to the jetted tub but was remedied by staff within next day. Helpful note for using the jetted tub (or just ensuring a HOT shower): small water heater for entire unit means that you need to ensure no dishwasher or other showers have been done 1 hour prior to get enough hot water to enjoy the tub. Use only hot water until it runs the hot water tank empty, then add cold water. You will not get a warm tub if using hot and cold water at same time to fill tub. Plan to spend 20+ minutes to get tub ready and full. The view & comfort of the tub is worth it, though. Bring your own food/drinks since no convenient access within walking distance. Once they figure out how to trap septic/sewage gasses from smelling up the place it will be almost perfect! Area was clean and staff friendly. Owner responsive. Great time!

We really enjoyed our week at the beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. the condo unit had a great view and the den and dining room furniture was functional and beautiful. There were a few problems in the unit mostly maintenance issues. the coffee pot didn't work, there were a lot of pots but only one frying pan which was dented and everything stuck to it. the kitchen faucet has the pull out sprayer and the weight that retracts the sprayer is missing so if you pull it out you have to reach under the sink with one hand while you push it back down with the other hand. probably need to replace the faucet altogether. could use an under the counter light too. the wifi worked great while there were not many people at the complex but when the people started filing in for the weekend the server got overloaded and we lost the signal. I didn't recall anything about the direct tv not being hooked up in the bedrooms they had dvd players but no dvd library and we didn't know to bring some. would be nice to have direct tv in all the rooms or at least make note of that in the comments. There was a fairly strong odor like sewer gas that started occurring after the building started to fill up. It would come and go but after opening the doors and airing the unit out it would dissipate. Sounds like I am a big complainer ,but overall we had a great time! the building is very attractive and the biggest problems seem to be systemic of the building not the unit. With just a little maintenance , the unit will rate 5 stars. We would not hesitate to lease it again. By the way, I have stayed on the Sandy Beach side on several occasions, the water and beach at Luna Blanca are way better! Oh, forgot to mention the big discount on golf at the Mayan Course. Beautiful ,challenging and fun!

My family and I loved every minute of our stay at Luna Blanca, the view from our balcony was beautiful. I accidentally left my wallet by the pool with our ID's in it, the following morning I told one of the security guards about it. He along with the other employees made every effort to find my wallet on the beach and by the pool. They were not able to find my wallet. Later that afternoon I was out eating in town and I received a text message from the gentleman who works the front desk and told me they found my wallet. I got my wallet back with all of my belongings. The employees were very professional and kind. We had an amazing trip. We will definitely becoming back to Luna Blanca.

The property needed some repairs.
We enjoyed our stay. The weather was great and we enjoyed a great view from our balcony on the 11th floor. But the tv in the master bedroom did not work, the coffee maker leaked and finally did not work at all, the patio furniture was stained and also a chair in the living room was stained. There was a dust pan but no broom to sweep the sand off the floor. Also the ice maker in the refrigerater made ice but did not dispense any and had to take it out by hand.

Nice place away from it all!
Condo was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and view from 11th floor was beautiful! Only negatives were large sliding door to balcony is nearly impossible to open and close , and tv needs instructions to operate with the 3 remotes ( we never figured it out ) over all beautiful place away from the crowds! Bring your own food , the many gas grills available are well maintained.

Completely as described. High quality getaway
No complaints. Unit as described and owner very responsive and helpful. Property as described and low key condo atmosphere. Beach is great with beautiful water and tons of shells. Poolside grils are great and very clean area. This is a condo property not a resort so only staff is security on sight which made several rounds and our family felt very safe. Things to be made aware of. Plan ahead as this property is 15 minutes from town so bring all your ice, food and beverages with you. The complimentary access to the mayan property was the on the cake as we used all the mayan palace offerings we could. We're a family of 4 in our mid 30s with 2 young children and this unit and property was perfect for us and will be returning.

Great place with nice facilities...
We enjoyed Luna Blanca. The view from this unit was spectacular. We enjoyed the facilities on the property and used the bbq areas everyday. The free access to the Grand Mayan pools and restaurants were an added bonus, which we took advantage of. There are a few things in the unit that need some attention (the oven didn't work), but overall, it was a great unit; fully stocked with all we needed, spacious and comfortable.
