The room was very comfortable, clean, upgraded and well lit. The location was not too far from the airport or zona romantica. There is also a vegan cafe - viva la vegan within 10 min walking distance for any vegans out there. The pool on the roof top is beautiful. Live music/DJ was ok and a bit loud. View is great and you can also walk down to the beach of the neighboring resorts. Our room faced the ocean and the road and was noisy at times due to the traffic.

Pool to small. No access direct to beach. Your key only takes you to your floor and if you have other party sucks because you cant go to their room

Here's your review: Me and the hubby recently had the pleasure of staying at Mio Hotel. The room was cozy and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The highlight, however, was the pool area, offering a refreshing swim with a stunning view. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a food park made dining options convenient and diverse. Overall, our stay at Mio Hotel was great, we would stay here again!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, 1. we were required to wear an armband to access the hotel; 2. the breakfast buffet offerings were unchanged day to day; 3. the fitness center/gym was run down; and 4. there was no direct beach access.

Best bang for your buck! Lovely staff. Great rooftop pool. Beach.Behind hotel has good sand and lots of space. Spa treatment was perfect.

Éste hotel era uno de mis favoritos, pero en ésta ocasión y con las nuevas medidas tomadas por el hotel las cuáles me indicó de muy mala manera a mi parecer la de recepción (Maria), tendré que reconsiderar el hospedarme de nuevo ahí, el.ascenso a categoria de habitación me dijo qie no había disponibilidad y el hotel lucia con miy poca ocupación

Staff is very nice. Breakfast buffet is okay 6/10 Rooms are big and lots of space everywhere. Shower pressure is amazing, one of the things I loved the most. Over all this hotel is great. I would stay at Mio again if I could. We are used to staying at 5 stars hotels like Wynn Las Vegas, so when I tell you Mio hotel is Okay, believe me it is okay 8/10

We booked at HOTEL MIO to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Well, what a treat!! Our overall experience was a 10 out of 10. The hotel’s facilities, from the restaurant, to the large room, to the rooftop pool and the cabanas, were absolutely the BEST!! Our room had a spectacular view of Puerto Vallarta and the Bay Area. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The shower was absolutely AWESOME!! We loved the surrounding area as there was so much to see, many places to visit, and a wonderful variety of places in which to dine. We will DEFINITELY be going back to HOTEL MIO.

Great place to stay! Good location. The rooms are large and all rooms have a balcony. The shower is huge. Using the app to access the elevator and room worked really well, I wish more hotels would do this. The roof top pool is amazing, the cabanas fill up close to noon. The temperature of the hot tub could’ve been a little warmer for me but nothing to complain about. Others we met there had been to the hotel multiple times and said it was the best place to stay in PV. There is “beach access” through the Friendly resort BUT on our second day of enjoying the beach we were told that the beach lounge chairs were only for the Friendly guests, not Mio. So yes, you can get to the beach but you can’t use the chairs or umbrellas for shade. Or maybe it depends who is on shift.

Modern and clean. Great staff. Limited services available. Breakfast was often cold (at 8am) and bland. Centrally located but not near the beach or other local attractions other than the mall.

Great location and very spacious room (and spacious walk-in shower)! We stayed at a high-floor (9th floor) end unit with both ocean and views!! Buffet was excellent! The only feedback I have is that shower and tap run cold for a quite a long time before water becomes warm. Seems like a big waste of water.

Ordering food at pool rooftop would take upto an hour. The service staff when we arrived at the front desk refused to give us an extra card for our room claiming they could only give one and my partner would have to download an app. Once we spoke to management turned out they had run out of cards. They gave us an additional card later that evening.

Overall amazing stay. Excellent location, friendly staff, and very clean hotel. I like that it’s very pet friendly would come back with my pet. Only thing is you can hear your drunk neighbours shouting in the corridors 12-3am and the room isn’t soundproof, so you’d be hearing what’s happening outside.

For the money we paid, this place was great! All the staff were wonderful to us and very helpful! We would definitely stay there upon our return to Puerto Vallarta.
