“A delightful hotel which was a former hospital. Well fitted out with accommodation and lovely lounge and verandah and lawn as community spaces. Beautiful decor with interesting pictures and brick a brack. Hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. A short walk to the Main Street for cafes and shops. Centrally located just off the A1. Also parking on site.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. My room was nice and tidy, well maintained, comfortable bed, easy access to the motel and lots of parking spaces. The Managers and Staff are also very polite, friendly, approachable and helpful. The best thing about my room was the big spa bath, it was so relaxing and with the jets going made it that much better, I'm about 6'2 and could comfortably lay in there. “Photos do NOT do this place justice. We booked based on good rating and price despite the average photos, and we’re happy we did. Very clean, great location that’s within 10mins drive of anything you’ll need (i.e., dining, grocery, shopping, parks) and plenty of parking. “We had a wonderful stay at the Lorne Apartments (extended our stay). We had a son in the hospital and it was so convenient as less than a 5 min walk there. Room was well equipped and everything looked new and clean. Staff were friendly. Internal walls are a little thin re noise and can be noisy when helicopters fly into the hospital but didn’t wake us or stop us sleeping. V bad smell out front from sewerage system in neighbouring park but no smell in our unit. Would recommend staying here if...
