    Lo peor de todo la limpieza y el estado de la habitación standard. Es UN sitio que necesita una lavada de cara urgente. Las sábanas de la habitación estaban rotas y había telarañas en las paredes, por no hablar del baño y el WC. Lo solucionaron a medias al hablar con ellos. Aparte de esto, está muy bien situado, el desayuno buenísimo y el personal muy amable.

    En su momento seria un alojamiento lujoso, pero ahora le falta mantenimiento. No limpian durante la estancia. La ubicación muy buena, junto al embarcadero y con acceso directo a dos playas. Las puestas de sol idílicas. El desayuno está bien, con muchos platos orientales.

    Hotellet ligger ok på Coral Beach, og der er dejlig udsigt, men der er mangel på vedligeholdelse og rengøring. Ekstremt nusset og beskidt. Alt for høj pris til hvad man får.

    Lovely stay!

    Beautiful Hotel, plenty of different spots to explore. We had a premium room for 3 of us. Room was spacious and well maintained. Breakfast was average, buffet style..got bored after 2 days of the same food choices. We ate out for lunch and dinner. You have to ask for your room.to be cleaned. Staff were very friendly at reception, answered queries. Late check out at 3pm at a cost of extra 100 rn..(£20) otherwise checkout is at 11.30am. Taxi boats/excursions available right outside tge hotel..snorkeling/diving We took a private taxi to Rednag Island for a day at the Island for a massage and bath..bliss Beach at Laguna Beach at Redang Island was out of this world better than Kecil.

    Bij aankomst was de kamer niet klaar. Locatie op het eiland is onduidelijk. Alles is oud vervallen en kapot en het stinkt. Stroom valt regelmatig uit maar dat hoort bij het eiland. Badkamer lekte aan alle kanten, één groot waterballet. Kamer wordt tussendoor niet schoongemaakt, geen nieuwe handdoeken, geen nieuw wc papier en de vuilnis word niet opgehaald. Wifi werkt ook niet. Als dit hotel 20-40 euro per nacht kost zou het oké zijn, maar voor 120 euro per nacht is het veel te veel geld voor wat je krijgt.

    This is the perfect place to stay on the island if you don’t want to pay £300 a night or stay in a hostel/cheap chalet. We were in one of the blocks. Don’t let this put you off! The rooms are beautiful, clean and have everything you need. We booked 3 nights and ended up extending our stay by 3 more…we could have happily stayed even longer. Coral bay is great, a few bars and places to eat, shops, movie nights and cocktails and wine at Ombak and of course access to dive/snorkel and water taxis. Plus at coral bay you get the most gorgeous sunsets and they have amazing places including a little secluded beach to watch the sun go down. It’s just a 10 minute walk to Long Beach which is more lively and nicer for sunbathing and swimming. The pool was amazing and we loved our night swims. We didn’t eat there except one breakfast which had everything you can imagine including noodles, curries and more - if that’s your thing! If we visit Kecil again we will hold not hesitate to book the Shari-La. The staff helped us book our return journey and also provided fresh towels etc on request delivering them to our room within minutes. Some people mentioned bugs - but basically if you leave food out the ants will find it! Apart from that a few cute gekkos who snuck in the bathroom window. But everything was clean, beds were super comfy, aircon was powerful, shower warm and we absolutely loved our stay.

    Peccato.

    La struttura in sé è molto bella. Immersa nel verde e non ad alto impatto ambientale. Però è praticamente assente ogni tipo di manutenzione interna e esterna. L'unica attività effettuata è la raccolta delle foglie. Le camere sono pulite (poco) su richiesta. Poco perché alla fine sono cambiate le lenzuola e basta. Gli specchi sporchi rimangono sporchi, i lavandini sporchi rimangono sporchi, etc. Sanno che possono vivere di rendita. Imperdibile la spiaggia al tramonto.

    Resort molto grande. Ottima la colazione a buffet. Camera non eccezionale ma negli standard dell’isola. Affaccia sul porto di Coral Bay, spiaggia abbastanza attrezzata per snorkelling tour, taxi boat e ristoranti ma la vera anima dell’isola di Kecil è a Long beach, raggiungibile a piedi dal resort attraverso la giungla dopo circa 15/20 minuti di camminata abbastanza impegnativa. (La sera è davvero buio, bisogna camminare con una torcia)

    Se potete, evitatelo!

    La struttura in sè, 40 anni fa, era anche bella, ora non c’è più manutenzione e tutto è lasciato al decadimento. Letto e sedie hanno visto sederi, ormai deceduti da anni!!! La pulizia è super scarsa, nelle camere ancora ancora si può tollerare, ma nella zona ristorante lasciare formiche girare liberamente tra i cibi non è il massimo! Per gli standard dell’isola, ci si può anche adattare, ma ci sono delle strutture migliori.

    Great resort. Considering the island of Kecil and its hotel facilities, we were more than pleased with this resort, perched on a hillside, with a hundred beautiful boungalows, with a very well kept interior walkway full of vegetation and small fountains. The bathroom is a bit small but the room is well kept and on request they clean up on time. Only negative note ... often go mosquitoes; It would be good if they provided insecticide platelets. Very positive note .. the little private beach where you can make a good snorkeling (murine views, ball fish and many colorful tropical fish with good coral formations). Good breakfast, also with a Nespresso machine for capuccino / coffee lovers. Good restaurant. All in beautiful and romantic sea view position. Last but not least the cordiality of staff and recption staff. Other positive notes ... the big jetty almost with direct access to the hotel, and the proximity to a few feet to the Coral Bay beach, for us certainly more attractive than the famous Long Beach on the other side of the island (they can still walk to A short walk). If one day we return to Kecil we will definitely return to this property

    This hotel may be better during high season but for this particular stay, it was lacking quite a bit. The room was okay, but looks like it may not have ever had a cleaning. Huge cob webs were in many corners. The headboard was not completely attached to the wall and we had seen behind it. Also had NEVER been cleaned. There was also a hole somewhere in the wall that a gecko kept coming in and out of. We had a gecko in the room about three times. Our room was never serviced. We had to go down to the front desk to ask. They also don’t provide beach towels you must use your room towels. For the price we paid there were much nicer hotels with better service. I also realize that bugs will be an issue at any hotel, but on our first nights stay we had left the room and left our air conditioner and fan on. When we came back to the room we had about 40 little tiny wings on our bed... after we swept them off we saw some of the wingless bugs on the bed and on the floor. Very similar to ants but a little bit bigger. Again, I realize that bugs will be a problem but this was the worst that we saw. As well they advertised warm showers but it was cold water. Again, manageable but not what we thought we were paying for. Wifi was also not available through the entire resort but was advertised. The dive resort next door had wifi and good food for a good price.

    朝7時半に到着したのに、すぐにチェックインして部屋に入れた。ホテルから歩いて行けるところに、カフェや食堂がありロケーションは良い。ホテル内にプライベートビーチがあり、シュノーケリングで魚や珊瑚礁を見ながら泳ぐことが出来る。 しかしWi-Fiはホテルのロビーでしかつながらないし、ドライヤーの貸し出し無し。

    Era evidente que La habitación-cabaña en la que nos alojamos había estado cerrada durante mucho tiempo. Olía a cerrado, polvo. La arreglaron pero estaba lleno de pólvora y telarañas. Creo que podían haberla arreglado un poquito mejor. Por lo demás, el desayuno era bastante completo y la estancia en general estuvo bien

    Het Shari-La resort ligt op een fantastische locatie. Aan de voorkant dichtbij de pier en duikschool Quiver. Aan de achterkant kan je zwemmen en snorkelen en mooie visjes zien. Het resort is helaas verouderd. De stijl past niet meer bij deze tijd. Er wordt wel geïnvesteerd in nieuwbouw en verbouw, maar ze zouden een paar andere punten wel met prioriteit kunnen oppakken. Bijvoorbeeld: de dekens vervangen, de ligstoelen op het romantische strand vervangen, de stoelen en tafels op het terras vervangen. Het personeel kan een stuk vriendelijker zijn. Het ontbijt was redelijk goed. WiFi was slecht en instabiel. Als je pech hebt, ligt je chalet op een grote afstand. Er zijn (te) veel poeltjes met stilstaand water. Dat veroorzaakt veel muggen.

    I wouldn't stay here again, even if you paid me.

    I am not normally one to criticise a premise as I understand how this can have an impact on the welfare and livelihood of staff that work there, however, I can not honestly recommend this place to anyone. There is no pool as indicated in the advertisement. There is however a beautiful beachfront area that we did enjoy, however you definitely need shoes to get to the water's edge due to the sharp coral. We attend these premises with other friends and therefore booked out 3 rooms. Not one of these 3 rooms were clean. The toilet door required a masterful tact to shut it & the bathroom fan had no cover over it so of the night the room was invaded by bugs and mosquitoes. We had to request to have our rooms cleaned and the Operational front desk staff were despondent and did not pass on the message to the cleaners. It took us three days before we actually got fresh sheets & towels. Our original sheets had holes in them and one of the pillows had blood on the pillowcase. On the third night, we had a mouse in our room. Our friends actually had to move rooms on night two due to a rat climbing up onto their bed. All in all, I would never stay here again.

    Poor customer service to worsen other shortcomings

    Rundown place, plenty of mosquitoes, rats making sound in the night, bathroom wasn't clean, surrounding was stinking with sewerage water and to top it all very poor customer service!!!

    綺麗ではないが滞在はできる

    清潔で快適なリゾートホテルではありません。特に水回りはお世辞にも綺麗とは言えません。ただエアコンとファンがある部屋にいれば涼しいし、水圧は弱いですがお湯も出ます。朝食ビュッフェはそれなりにおいしいです。ホテルのWi-Fiは期待しないほうがいいです。日本から持参したレンタルWi-Fiはつながりました。停電は一日に2～3回は起こりますが、1分以内に戻ります。テレビは写りがよかったり悪かったり。毎日のクリーニングはありません。バスタオルは1枚のみ、トイレットペーパーはなし、アメニティは石鹸のみ。大変残念だったのは、入口に出しておいたサンダルを誰かに盗まれたことです(みんな外にサンダルを出し、洗濯物を干しています)。客なのかスタッフなのかわかりませんが、そういう人がいる施設だと思ってください。
