Could not ask for better accom or location. The view from this house was second to non, breath taking. The house was spotless and extremly comfortable, it had everything. It was extremly convenient to be only a short walk into main town and be surrounded by amazing food choices. We will be back.

Well maintained property, that was cosy with all creature comforts needed. Stayed as a small group of 3 friends, so the 3 rooms were perfect for our stay. The view is incredible, and location was perfect. A very short stroll into town, or a very easy bus ride if we didn’t feel like driving. Staying here was a breeze, highly recommend.

Amazing property!!

Absolutely loved our stay here, was really well kept, great place, amazing view. Was a perfect place to stay in Queenstown location-wise as well. Owner was very friendly and the accommodation was as expected if not nicer!

We had a great stay, 3 girls on a weekend birthday treat. Amazing views, property was warm, heaters in the bedrooms, comfy beds and nicely decorated throughout. Very quiet as it is in a cul de sac. It does have outside deck but too cold this time of year. Kitchen well equipped, bring your own coffee for plunger. It was slightly smaller than expected..ensuite in master bedroom tiny, not suitable for big people...close to town but as with most properties in Queenstown you have to like hills..but then that is how you get the amazing views over the lake, we would book again.

Gorgeous view, the rest just ok.

The view is great but seems like almost anywhere on the hills in Queenstown would be. I emailed our host before booking to ensure that both bedrooms had at least queens. He assured me that they had recently changed out the double for a queen in one bedroom so that both had queens. In fact, they had not so one was a queen with a gorgeous view and one was a double with no view. The third bedroom was a twin bed that was only appropriate for a dressing room (no closets or dressers in 2nd bedroom so thank goodness). The website indicated that there was a hot tub. There was NO hot tub. Despite turning on heat in all rooms, it was freezing. The unit sits above the garage which apparently has no insulation so the floors, especially in bathrooms with no carpeting are like standing on icebergs. The sink in the primary en-suite bath is so small that you end up washing your feet when you rinse your face. This problem could be avoided by the presence of a couple washcloths. Finally, I had booked for 3 nights and got confirmation of same several months ago. The day before arrival the host confirmed for only 2 nights. I was terrified that we would have to find something else at the last minute. I texted the host and he said he could add a night and immediately charged me for it. Don’t understand why this property got 10’s. The view is great but that doesn’t compensate for the other issues.

Queenstown Stay

Beautiful spot! Short walk into Queenstown magical weather when we stayed. Views from the house amazing. Need a new frying pan the ones supplied were very old and coating coming off. Beds were very hard. Overall a great base for Queenstown stay such a pretty town!
