“Linda and Mike were outstanding hosts and welcoming to us. They were accommodating to special diet needs, and anxious to meet our requests. Food was delicious, the sitting area was cozy and our room was perfect. If it were possible we’d give 10 stars. Mike us a tour of the mill and a history of the property that made the whole experience fulfilling. ”

“The rooms were clean, it’s a quiet area with a beautiful view of the lake and Blue Ridge Mountains.”

“I had stayed here before and knew it was a bare bones place to stay. This time our room smelled of cigarette smell. There was a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom. The bed was okay but there were stains on the carpet.”

“Perfect location for visiting the town. The hotel was much better than I expected and the room was double a normal room at other locations.”

“My room was clean and quiet and had a very comfortable bed. Parking was plentiful and close to my room. Unfortunately the Wi Fi was out the entire four days of my stay; at least, I couldn’t get the TV to work. I also wish they had hand towels to use by the sink. They only supply small bath towels and wash clothes. Overall this is an acceptable budget stay.”
