Hotel in zona Rainbow Point, Taupō

“The deluxe cabin was a pleasure to stay in. Parking right alongside. It had everything we needed (excl bathroom) and was spotlessly clean. The toilet block was a short walk opposite which almost made up for not having our own ensuite. My only downside was the lack of a second shower block near the cabin.. It was situated a good way from.the cabin.”

“Property needs to be modernised. Single glazing and shower fittings are from the sixties. No bedside tables or even a coffee table in the lounge”

“The lady at the front desk was so friendly. The room was nice and the view of lake Taupō was incredible. It was perfect for our 1 night stay. ”

“Didn't have breakfast, rooms were ok for 2 nights, staff were ok and helpful. Pool was lovely and warm. Hotpools across the road, get hotel to book as it was only $15pp. ”

“parking easy, be mindful when booking that not all rooms photographed are like the photos in the booking ad, the lovely team member did find us the same type (eg jnr suite with spa bath as per photos) we also thought it would be ground floor, as that was the booking info so she found this too. The resturant did let the place down, the menu is very basic, and wasnt particularly cooked well. We have used it in the past as a special occasion go to and its not that now so we were dissapointed in...

“Our one bedroom apartment was very clean & comfortable. The bed and two lounge chairs in the living room especially. Good location just one street back from the main so nice and quiet.”
