“TV hard to figure out how to use for a senior citizen. The room had a smell not very pleasing. It wasn't offensive nor nauseating.”

“The Antietam Overlook Inn is a wonderful B&B perfectly situated on a hilltop in the Maryland Piedmont, just minutes away from Antietam Nat'l Battlefiield, Sharpsburg MD and Shepherdstown WV. The wilderness setting is stunning -- I saw more wildlife in one hour drinking my morning coffee than I saw in an entire day in Shenandoah Nat'l Park. The staff prepared a delicious communal breakfast for the 3 couples staying that night along with us. Great for pets -- they have a Frenchie, a farm cat...

“Overall, really nice stay. My only complaint is that when I tried to check in, they said they couldn’t do anything until 3 PM. I found that really bizarre because most hotels would, at minimum, take my information and offer to stow my bags—other than that, the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“Hotel has been updated recently. Our room air conditioner started leaking in the night. Staff quickly transferred us first thing in the morning to another room. The water was also turned off in town for 4 hours during the night. Not fault of the hotel, and luckily didn’t affect us much since it was between 10pm-2am. Disadvantage was not elevator to get to our second floor room with multiple bags/suitcases. No pool at this location. Breakfast was delicious!”

“Il soggiorno e' stato piacevole nonostante il fatto che abbiamo dovuto chiedere il cambio delle lenzuola che sembravano usate. La persona al desk e' stata responsive e gentile. L' hotel e' ben posizionato rispetto ad Harpers Ferry anche se isolato da altre facilita'.Non abbaino consumato la colazione che sembrava minimale e di scarsissima qualità'. Prezzo economico. Nonostante tutto un rapporto sufficiente fra prezzo e qualità'.”

“Extremely convenient location, just outside of town but across the street from food and gas. This is an older building for sure but the price couldn't be beat. I don't need anything fancy, just warm and safe. My room had a window into what used to be the pool but it's long abandoned. Interesting tho, like looking into the past a lil. I appreciated the free snacks and water bottles as I was doing a lot of traveling and hiking the day of checkout.”

“Stayed here as it was the cheapest place I could find close to Harper's Ferry, 30 min away. Similar to what you'd expect at a super 8, could use some updating at least concerning the rooms' exterior glass doors. Looks like several people are living the hotel life while I was there, but my room was clean and bedding was nice. Not far from interstate and lots of shopping nearby.”

“Room and general areas clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was room was a little cramped - one of the beds (two queens) was about 8 inches from the wall, making it difficult to get into that side of the bed.”
