“I booked a single room with twin bed but upgraded to a double bed and got a better room. The room itself was quite dark, except for first thing in the morning when the sun lit up the room and the bathroom, which was nice. The bedroom had only one central light (quite dark) and one bedside light, with no lighting over by the desk where the kettle/tea/coffee were, which was a little awkward. “Was our 3rd or 4th time staying. Car park good. Area around is lovely. Reception area is really nice. Room is clean, large. Bar food was good. Staff were good. Breakfast was okay - staff there were lovely. Pool, changing rooms are nice but steam room not working which was a shame. Welcome arrival from reception always seems lukewarm.”
