“Wow how to review this property. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. In addition, the rate was reasonable given the location in Taos. However, the room was bizarre, with the kitchenette located IN the bathroom. The shower and soaking tub were located in yet another space. The toilet was not working when we arrived, and after 2 trips to the office to request assistance and a visit from maintenance, we had a working toilet 2 hours later. The microwave opened only by prying it open...

“We had a lovely 5 night stay. The hotel was a very clean and well maintained. It was also quiet and comfortable with beautiful mountain views. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Drinking water from their own well was pure and blueberry muffins at breakfast were so delicious.”

“We usually stay at a Hampton Inn or Hilton property b/c of the standard and continuity between each. I saw the hotel did not have the best reviews but there are limited options in where to stay in Taos. A few observations - the cleaning staff kicked clumps of dirt around in our hallway rather than sweeping it up: they were very loud in the hallways in the mornings. “Our room was very spacious and comfortable. It was clean and had everything we needed. We didn’t go to the bar or eat breakfast there. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The front desk was understaffed in the evening in my opinion. The only thing that was a little sketchy was the glass door in the shower was affixed to the wall properly.
