Our favorite spot at the Getaway is now much different as the peaceful seclusion we once experienced is now property tainted by money. ”

“The host, David, is amazing and so friendly. He goes out of his way from the very beginning of your trip, until the time you leave, to ensure your stay is comfortable and to your standards. When we got there the temperature was expected to drop drastically and he offered us space heaters to warm the yurt which worked great! My only complaint about the stay is the portable restroom was absolutely disgusting. ”

“Very cute cabin but they need better mattresses. The beds were terrible and our backs hurt. Memory foam mattresses are cheap and go a long way. Other than that, our one night stay was just fine. ”

“The cabin was very cozy, and well equipped with a full kitchen including a coffee maker. We were close to Mt Rushmore, downtown Rapid City, Custer State Park, and the Air Museum at Ellsworth AFB. The Badlands were a bit more of a haul, but easily accessible as a day trip. Restaurants and stores were 5-15 minutes away based on what you wanted.Jeff was great to communicate with, and gave us clear directions on getting to and accessing the property. We even got to see deer and wild turkey...
