  • We only allow dogs in our pet friendly rooms. One dog is free, but the second is an additional $25 one time. Please let us know if you are bringing a second dog.



    The old motor lodge re-invented! We recently took two hotel rooms and combined into one nice kitchenette suite. All new bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, lock system and furniture. Still has the old radiators and wall mounted AC units that we just couldn't find a way around, but they work great! An excellent base camp to enjoy the Black Hills and Badlands. Owners are avid hikers and mountain bikers who have lived in the area their entire lives. Happy to help get you pointed in the right direction. This apartment is located on the second floor.



    The Sojourn Vacation Rentals and Flats offers modern, fully furnished flats in Rapid City, SD. Rooms include a kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and dishwasher. They also include a living space and private bedroom. There is a patio available for guest’s relaxation and enjoyment.



    The Sojourn is conveniently located for travelers looking to visit Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Sturgis, and more. This property is nonsmoking.



    The kitchenettes are perfect for the vacationer or longer term out of town employee who needs some local housing. Located on Mt. Rushmore Road. 1.5 miles to downtown Rapid City, 26 miles to Mt. Rushmore. Local hiking and biking trail heads as close as .5 miles from property. Great selection of restaurants and stores in walking distance. .75 miles from Rapid City Regional Hospital.



    Notes



    We use the KeyCafe automated check in system so you can arrive anytime after 3pm.  The booking code and instructions will be sent via txt and email on the day of arrival.  Of course, we are happy to assist!  If we aren't on the property when you arrive we are near by.

Clean. Need a bath tub mat. Its too slippery when taking a shower with bath soap.and shampoo in the tub. My husband fell in the tub last night. He said he is ok.

Location is great! Delicious restaurant right behind (Colonial House). Subway on the other side, Sonic across the street and gas station and Walgreens near by. As well as a grocery store. The road this place is on will take you right out of town to all the Hot tourist attractions! Apartment was great. Kitchenette, full size fridge. Box fan in the room was a Great Touch! Water pressure in the shower was Great! The Check in process was something I've never experienced before. You punch in a code at the Black Box by the office to retrieve you're room key. The key pad was a bit sticky so take you're time pressing buttons.
