Great place family vacation

We were very happy with the room my only suggestion to have a oscillating fan for the bedroom. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends/family to stay.

Black Hills Getaway

The overall property was very good. Good location to visit all the sights with access to many places to eat. Only complaint was that the AC did not cool enough in the bedroom for are liking.

Such a Lucky Find!

Awesome place to stay! Close to so many things, we wish we’d planned for additional nights. Communication with the owner was excellent, personable and easy to follow. The room was clean and cozy with lots of little things that made it extra great. We’ll defiantly stop here again!

Just what we needed

This VRBO was exactly what we needed. Pet friendly and centrally located. We loved that there was a kitchenette and living room area along with the bedroom area. We enjoyed being able to walk to local businesses for our meals as well as the close proximity to hiking, the grocery store, etc. The VRBO is fully stocked with everything you need for the weekend. Towels, soap, kitchen utinsels, etc. We would definitely stay again.

Nice Choice in Rapid City

We really enjoyed the unit and our time in Rapid City. A couple of suggestions: (i) A toaster would be nice. A rental option such as the Sojourn appears to comtemplate affording users the option to eat breakfast “in” and a toaster would enhance the experience. (ii) Appreciated the AC in the living room / kitchen but man is it loud! Despite approaching 100 degrees F outside, sleeping was comfortable. (Iiii) Sofa ia a quite saggy. As the only other sitting option is a bar stool, my poor back didn’t like the sitting choices. Overall, we enjoyed your facility and would stay again and recommend to friends.

Loved the location of this property! The key cafe was fairly easy to figure out. I did have to call the cell number provided during check in to ask a few questions but the gentleman answered right away, was polite, and helpful! The bedding and towels were clean! However, overall, the unit was dirty. The ac unit was filthy, all dishes needed rewashed, there was a broken drinking glass and skillet in the cupboards, the cabinets (both inside and out) needed a really good wipe down, the floor was filthy (there was actually poop smeared on the bathroom floor), and the cobwebs and dust throughout the unit spoke volumes about the lack detail this unit gets during turnovers. It took 2 of us about 45 min, a whole can of Clorox wipes, and several latex gloves to get the unit where we felt comfortable with the cleaning. Whoever stays in this unit next, enjoy the cleaning upgrade we provided!
