Lyas Holiday Home - 20 metri da una splendida spiaggia

Perfetto per coppie o una famiglia intenta a fare snorkeling e nuotare lontano dalle loro vacanze. La laguna in questa zona è anche una riserva protetta, quindi i pesci tropicali sono in abbondanza.

Per coloro che frequentano matrimoni in Titikaveka Lya's è una posizione perfetta ea pochi passi dagli hotel Little Poly e Moana Sands (e dai loro ristoranti).

Lya's offre una gradita tregua dai grandi spazi aperti con una veranda coperta e confortevole zona soggiorno con soffitto alto con una cucina moderna. Entrambe le camere sono dotate di letti queen size (una può essere divisa in due letti singoli). C'è anche un letto matrimoniale nel soggiorno così extra oltre le solite 4 persone sono in grado di rimanere. I fan del piedistallo in ogni stanza ti manterranno fresco nelle serate tiepide e la casa completamente schermata assicurerà che le zanzare non si uniscano a te in vacanza.

Se il tempo non è eccezionale, puoi trascorrere un po 'di tempo nei giardini di Maire Nui, un luogo ideale per conoscere tutte le cose che piacciono a piante tropicali (c'è anche un caffè lì).

Una volta sistemato, ci saranno pochi motivi per lasciare l'area, ha tutto ciò che una casa su un'isola tropicale dovrebbe avere. La spiaggia e la laguna della zona sono particolarmente belle con spiagge di sabbia bianca e una profonda laguna blu per nuotare e fare snorkeling con le basse e alte maree.

Tikioki beach stay

Unfortunately this bach was just not for us. Both beds were very uncomfortable, the floor was gritty & extremely dirty, our feet were black so we had to wash the floor shortly after arrival. The ceiling fans in the bedroom weren’t sufficient & the one standing fan for the lounge and kitchen was insufficient given the heat

Exactly what I expected from the info I was given. Location was good, literally 3 mins off the beach, 1 min over the road to Charlies bar. Good value for money - I would recommend it.

Somewhat disappointing.

The actual house and location are good. The chattel's need attention. The crockery is old and stained, the curtains are old and ripped, the mop and brush for daily cleaning are disgusting. We felt for very little outlay financially the whole ambiance of the house and contents could be dramatically improved.

Good spot. Prob need scooter to get around. Wasn’t impressived with rats, cockroaches and gekkos inside house. No hot water. House very hot on hot days with no air con. Overall ok for budget accommodation.

Very Comfortable and functional

Great condition. Generous fully equipped kitchen. Nice outdoor covered setting. Comfortable beds. Beautifully kept section with tropical planted boundary. Across from Charlies which recovered from storm while we were there. Would recommend.

Lovely bach - a stones throw away from beach and beer :-)

Property was great. It was clean, spacious (we had a bedroom each). Nice little touches with flowers, and some essentials in the fridge. It was a hop, skip and a jump from a gorgeous white sandy beach and turquoise ocean, and a quick walk into "Charlies" - a great bar / restaurant - good food, beer and cocktails. We didn't go far - but didn't need to - there was a small superette 300m away that had everything you needed. It is about a 20-25 minute walk to Muri beach markets - and food there was also great. Had a lovely stay. Thanks

Great home for a family

Large property and garden, which was ideal for our two young children. The fans in the bedrooms and nets at the windows helped us cope with the heat and prevent insects coming in. Great location, just opposite the beach. The house is also on the main road so it can be noisy (traffic + dogs/roosters)

Island Luxury on a budget

We loved our stay at Lyas Holiday Home. If you are looking for a place close to the best snorkeling, restaurants, beaches, and historical spots on Rarotonga, look no further. This is not a 5 star Luxury resort, but for a family place it is great value for the price! Plenty of room for our family of 5, including two teenage girls! Right across the road from Charlie's meant lots of people around between 6-9 pm, but we felt safe and Charlie's is a great spot for lunch, dinner, and darts! We enjoyed hearing the live island music in the evenings. We also rented a kayak from Charlie's for the week at a great price. It was easy to carry it across the road each morning for a georgeous sunrise paddle on the lagoon! At Lya's you are just a 7 minute drive to Wigmores superstore. A 3 min drive or 20 min walk to Muri beach and the night market. And some of the best snorkeling in the island is right across the road. Eddie was very helpful with all our inquiries and a genuinely nice guy! He even brought us fresh baked chocolate chip cookies to apologize when our check-in got a little complicated due to other tourists moving into the wrong Bach. We would stay again for sure!

8 days in Raro

Family of 3, we enjoyed our stay, good to have full cooking facilities, fridge/freezer, we took our own food. Washing machine was amazing, the mosquito screens outside windows are brilliant, you can leave the windows open and nothing flies in, Fans in rooms are excellent, location to beach was good, Charlies bar and restaurant was handy across the road and quite affordable, the bar usually closes around 8-9pm. Make sure when you go through Customs on arrival, that you have the property managers full name and contact number, we did get held up for a bit on arrival, as we only had the email address correspondence on hand, with only the first name, something we didn't even think about! lol. ...apart from that excellent time!! love the snorkelling!!

Relaxing holiday spot

House was well appointed and we appreciated the fruit, milk and fruit juice on arrival. Great to have a big fridge and ample towels etc! Prompt service to resolve initial hot water problems. Good off street parking and handy to swimming and beach as well as Charlies restaurant just over the road.

Island life

Property perfect for our stay. Weather unseasonably cold so requested blankets which arrived promptly. Shower temperature varied but mainly ran hot but sometime went cold without warning but overall would stay there again.

Wonderful

Good house for family stay

As expected, this is a basic but well appointed house. Kitchen had plenty of appliances and Sandwich press was a lifesaver, and washing machine a bonus. Made traveling with kids a lot easier! Great spot over the road from Charlie's (note closed from 4pm Saturday until 11am Monday) and lovely beach and snorkeling spots.

Excellent location

We were a party of 5 who were able to fully take advantage of the house. There is ample room and we spent most of our time outside on the porch. The house had towels for use (which was a great advantage for us not to have to carry them with us from the US). It is located directly across the street from a great beach, and from Charlie's restaurant. We ate there most nights. It is less than a quarter mile from a small grocery store where you can get most of your needs and the bus runs right in front of the house. The owners were very responsive to emails prior to the trip. There are only two small constructive criticisms. One, we asked if there were specific items prior to travel that would be needed such as cooking oil, salt/pepper. We were told those items would be there but they weren't. There were no napkins or extra garbage bags so we bought them ourselves. Two, we paid for a late check out and transportation to the airport. All of that was smooth, however, the late check out email said we'd be checking out around "6-ish." So naturally we thought transportation would pick us up at that same time. But the transportation didn't pick us up until 9. We tried to call the transportation guy but he kept hanging up on us. Better communication between the owner, the transportation guy and us could have saved some anxiety. As it was we sat on the porch waiting for the transportation guy for those three hours. Aside from those, I recommend this house, especially if you have a family. It is ample enough in size and is well located. It was convenient to have a kitchen to cook in and some privacy to relax in.
